The OS starts from Vansh paralyzing Riddhima.
The OS starts as……
Riddhima:
I came back to the room and saw Vansh sitting on the couch, peacefully working on the laptop. I could sense the anger arise in me now after seeing me. Previously, it showed love towards him but now it’s only anger. And why not? This so-called husband of mine is a blo*dy murderer. Then, his eyes met mine, looking in his eyes it’s clear, he doesn’t care, not at all! All he carries is hatred and anger for the whole world.
Vansh(smirked): What happened sweetheart?
He’s asking as if he doesn’t know. I ignored him and walked towards the bed but then in a swift he stood up in front of me. He had something in his hand, glass of juice?
Vansh(command): Have it!
Who does he think he is?
Vansh: It’s not poison! Have it!
I was in no mood to quarrel so I silently took it and drank. After few seconds, I couldn’t stand properly. I felt my legs weakening and eventually I couldn’t feel them. I found myself in air, Vansh carried me in his arms and laid me down on bed. What happened to my legs? They were all good few minutes back. I just drank the……. Suddenly anger overpowered me.
Riddhima(anger): What had you mixed in the juice?
Vansh(calmly): Relax sweetheart! It’s just a small dose of six hours. I thought that you’ve been travelling so long, walking in the house continuously in search of evidences. I felt pity on those small cute little kiddo legs of yours and thought of giving them rest.
Riddhima: You just don’t want me to send you behind bars!! And you are highly mistaken!
Vansh: Think whatever you want! I can’t snatch the right from you to think but I can definitely snatch the right to stand! And I did!
Riddhima: But why did you do it?
Vansh: I told you a number of times Riddhima, to not poke your small little nose in my big business but still you didn’t listen! I am just giving you rest, be happy!
Riddhima(moist eyes) have another way to make sure that I rest well, will you listen to me and implement it?
Vansh: Sure! Go ahead!
Riddhima(tears): Kill me!
Vansh(stunned): What?
Riddhima(cried): Yes! You never loved me, right? All you thought of me was a product which you wanted to own. I thought you loved me, all the love, care, affection, protection, everything I received from you was special for me, I thought that you meant it truly but you didn’t! You only wanted to hurt me. I so badly wanted to start a life with you. To live with you, have a family of our own with you but you snatched all my dreams. You never told me anything about your past, anything! Your past doesn’t matter to me Vansh! NOT AT ALL! But what matters is you taking a wrong step in rage. I don’t want that to happen. I can’t afford to lose you. If I lose you, I’d lose everything. But today, right now, I realised that I had never had you, I had never gained you so losing you was not a thing. I was a blo*dy fool to believe you and your love. I thought that you will always be there for me when I stand but now, because of you I can’t even stand.
Vansh:
After listening to her, I had tears in my eyes. Why? Why Riddhima? How could she that? I am always there by her. I didn’t understand anything at that moment and so I hugged her, hugged her tightly. And she broke in my arms. She cried inconsolably. I patted her back to calm her down while her tears were still wetting my shoulders. We got back for a moment and looked into eachother’s eyes. We both held tears. I placed my arms on her cheeks and made her look in my eyes.
Vansh: Listen to me Riddhima! I have always loved you! All the love, care, affection whatever I showered on you was true. I love you from the bottom of my heart. And how can you compare yourself to a product. You are my better half, Vansh Raisinghania’s! Dare not repeat that sentence. And I am sorry sweetheart, I had to take this step with you. But I had no choice, trust me! For one last time! I promise you that I won’t take any wrong stop, Never! Because now, whenever I’m in anger, I close my eyes and the first picture which comes, is yours! How on earth can I take a wrong step when you are in my life? But it hurts me Riddhima, it hurts me to the core that my love doesn’t trust me! Your insecurities are acceptable, I can accept the face that you are spying on me but not the fact that you hate me. I can never in my tolerate that. I would die! Trust me! I would never take a wrong step because I love you!
We looked in each other’s eyes all this time and then she hugged me and again cried.
Riddhima: I trust you!
This ‘I trust you’ sounded more melodious than ‘I love you’.
Vansh: I was craving to you hear this! And if at all, I take a wrong step, my life’s all yours, you can take it anytime!
She pulled back and kept her index finger on my lips.
Riddhima: Shhhh… Don’t talk about death!
Vansh: Okay!
We wiped each other’s tears.
Riddhima: But now what am I supposed to do? Sit in this position for six hours.
Vansh: Well, you can sleep too!
She hit me on my arm and smiled a little.
Vansh: I’ll tell you about Ragini.
Riddhima: I don’t want to know anything about her now!
Vansh: You need to! Few minutes back when we spoke it was a new start and for that Ragini’s discussion has to end forever.
Riddhima: But….
Vansh(interrupting): Finger on your lips!
Riddhima(keeping her index on her lips): Okay teacher!
I smiled and she followed. She looked cute though.
Vansh: So now listen to me patiently with interrupting and if any questions ask later! Understood?
Riddhima nodded.
Vansh: Three years back, I got the proposal of Ragini, initially I didn’t have much interest but for my family’s sake, I accepted. We waited for a long time and slowly I fell for her. Few days after our engagement, I realised that she was just behind my property and nothing else. She hadn’t loved me. When we were discussing this in the backyard I had pointed a gun on her. That time she agreed that she was behind money but then she too fell for me. I hadn’t shot her but someone else did. After she got shot, she told me that she knows the killer of my mom. And it’s the only reason why I have kept Ragini alive till now. She was in coma for the past years and now she started gaining conscious. I won’t kill her Riddhima, I am planning to send her abroad.
Riddhima:
I had tears in eyes. I had wronged him so much. For so long. I pulled him in a hug and said, “Sorry!” He started patting my back and then we got back. I looked in his eyes. He just said that it’s a new start for us and the truth of Kabir has to come out. If not now, then never!
Riddhima: Even I have to tell you something about my past.
Vansh: Riddhima, this is the second time that I am telling, I don’t want to know about your past.
Vansh got up and walked to the door.
Riddhima: I had a boyfriend!
He stopped on his tracks and turned back.
Vansh: Can you repeat?
Riddhima: I had a boyfriend.
He came back to me and sat next to me holding my hand.
Vansh: I don’t give a damn about that guy, because now, you are all mine.
Riddhima(interrupting): Kabir Sharma!
Vansh: ??
Riddhima: Kabir Sharma, CBI agent.
His grip on my hand tightened.

But after the shootout, I could realise that you also have a good side but you don’t show it to anyone. A day before Karwachauth, I broke all my ties with him, in a hope to start my life with you.
Vansh:
I had tears again in my eyes on hearing her confession. Was I not her first love? She entered my life on someone else’s saying. She married me for someone else. It was difficult; but if it’s not difficult, it’s not truth, right?
Vansh: Do you by any chance have a soft corner for him?
Riddhima: There’s no place left in my heart for him. Because Vansh Raisinghania doesn’t like sharing!
I giggled. Even in this situation she made me smile.
Riddhima: Vansh, you have the whole of my heart, there’s no place for anyone else.
Vansh: I don’t want the discussion of Kabir again!
Riddhima: Never! Not gonna happen!
Vansh: It’s night, you sleep!
Riddhima: Are you going to snatch the job of the watchman?
Vansh: Why?
Riddhima: So come and sleep besides me. What if I need anything later? I can’t get up.
Vansh: As you say madam!
I lied down beside her and she kept her head on my chest, it calmed me down more that she’s always this close to me. Tomorrow Ragini’s chapter with get closed. The moment she says the killer of my Mom, I will end that person’s life and then Riddhima and I will start a new life with each other. This time with truth and love. Thinking about tomorrow, I slept hugging my love.
