“Kadam kadam pe tumne sirf mujhe dhoka diya hai Riddhima. Kabhi pyaar ke naam pe, kabhi rishton ke naam pe! His mind was blurred with proofs but heart was still saying that Riddhima is innocent. He had seen so many proofs against Riddhima, that now he can’t even listen to his heart. He was mad, mad for her. But what she did? She cheated him. She turned out to be a spy. A deceiver,a traitor, whom he despised the most! What not he has done for her? He had given his whole heart to her, yet she just wanted to send him behind bars! He was broken into many pieces now. All he had, in this so called family was, Siya, Dadi and her! And she broke him to the core, once again his belief on the word ‘Trust’ is shaken. It’s ironical, he didn’t believe in the word ‘Belief’!
“Vansh main manti hu, manti hu maine bahot juth bole hain! Par vo sab sirf rishte ki shuruwat mein tha. Uske baad maine tumhe kai baar sachhai btane ki koshish ki, kitni baar chaha ki main tumhe sab kuch bata du..par har baar tumne mujhe rok diya tha. Glasshouse mein, ek letter mein, saari sachai, apne ateet ke baare mein, sab kuch likhkar chodha to tha tumhare liye”, Riddhima cried for her innocence.
Yes she agree, she deceived him, but that was when she was blinded by Kabir. But later she got to know everything, she fell for him, she shielded him and his family, forgetting her own life. How could he say that she was just a spy? She loved him, equally. Moreover, she had told him the whole truth at glasshouse and he even accepted that, by giving her rose. So why was he behaving like this, now?
“Jhooth! Mujhe koi letter nhi mila!”, He shouted and grabbed her arms while placing a knife on her throat.
“Aaj tum mujh pe bharosa karti ho. Aur mai vo kar raha hu, jo tumhe expected nahi tha! Isse kehte hain dhoka!”, Vansh shouted.
He then left her miserable there itself and walked out. He was full! Full of anger, and he feared that he would do something that he will regret later. He know that she deceived him, but he still loves her! He had tried, tried a lot, to tell his heart, to make it understand that she played with him, but heart! Heart is heart, it never listens, it only does what it feels. And right now his heart was crying for Riddhima. He could never see her hurt, never see her tears. But now, he was the one who hurt her, he was the one who was solely responsible for her tears.
Riddhima was still in shock. He didn’t got the letter? How? She herself have written it and have placed it there. And he also have given her rose! So why? Did he not received any letter? God.. someone did this on purpose! Kabir?
She ran after him, and grabbed his arm to stop him.
“Vansh listen.. I sent a letter at glasshouse.. you remember I was attacked there? I think Kabir has taken that letter..he want to separate us Vansh! Trust me!”, Riddhima pleaded.
Vansh laughed at her words. Trust? Trust her? How many times? How many times will he trust her and how many times will she break it? No.. he could not fall weak this time! No.. he had to punish her for her deeds, for strangling Siya to death, for Ragini’s death, due to which he couldn’t find out his mother’s real killer! He need to do this!
He freed his hand from her hold forcefully and left her all alone shattered.

Why? Why can’t he trust her, one last time? Why can’t he listen what her heart says? Her heart beats only for him. She loves him, she can die for him. But he is hell bound to punish her. Yes she had done many things, she had hid her truth, but didn’t he, did the same ? If he had told her all the truth in the beginning itself, then this wouldn’t even happen.
What was her fault? She loved a wrong man, initially! But when she found her Mr Right, it was too late. He fell from cliff..how happy she was when she got to know that Vihan was Vansh! But today..today he had shattered everything.. he was the one who was behind her life..

Did he know, how many deaths she died when she saw him dead? Did he know, how many nights she cried for him? Did he know, how alone she was at that time? She brought him back as Vihan. He got his family back, but did she got her Vansh back?
He will never understand, what she have been through when she had to welcome a stranger in their bedroom. When she had to share the bed with that stranger. When she had to wear vermilion and nuptial change from that stranger. Today she knew that, that stranger was Vansh himself, but at that time she was miserable! He can never understand what her heart felt!

He very well knows the depth of her love. He very well knows how much she trust him, how much she love him. That’s why he had taken this step, to hurt her, the same way she did, by breaking her trust.

She recalled their moments at the glasshouse. He was her passion. She can do everything for him. Only he was, her everything. He had this whole world. He had his family, he had everything. But all she have is only him!

“Riddhima agar is zindagi mein, maine kisi se sabse jyada pyaar kiya hai, to vo tum ho!” She recalled his confession at the glasshouse.
He didn’t know, how overjoyed she was at that time. He had given her so much happiness there. He had become peace of her heart. Was all that fake? All the moments spend there were nothing for him?

She smiled with grimace. What her life has become! All she wanted was a simple life. But what she had is…. far, far from being simple.
She smiled at her fate! The man he loved before, just used her as a pawn. And the man she loved now, what did he do? He too used her? When he never trusted her, then why did he came close at glasshouse? Why did he get intimate with her? He just wanted her body?
But look at the irony, she still loves this man! She still wanted him, to return back and hug her. Because only he is the one, without whom, she can’t spend her single second of life.

She wiped her tears and got up. She knows, what she had to do now. She had lived her life, she had actually sacrificed her life for the ones whom she loved whole heartedly.
The first one, never reciprocated her feelings and was just using her. And the second one.. he was always misunderstanding her.
Now, she need to let her go from this unwanted relation. She need to leave him. Because now, it’s on her self respect. He claimed that he loved her, but is that love so weak, that he could not see anything apart from the proofs? He had just seen proofs and had made his assumptions. He never asked her, if she was really lying. All he did was, asking her a stupid yes and no questionnaire! He didn’t even gave her time to explain!

It will not be easy! Never! It’s impossible for her to leave him. He had become an inevitable part of her life. But she had to..she had to forget him.
She didn’t want more of this. She is tired! Tired of proving her innocence all the time. Why always her? Why always she suffers?
Her love for him is immense. It is beyond everything. But she can’t..she can’t take it more. When she knows that he just wanted to hurt her, to let her understand how it feels to taste your own medicine. He wanted her to understand the feeling of deception. And now, since he had done that, he will leave her. But before him doing that, she had to leave him. She won’t be able to tolerate that….but she has to.

If there is any place beyond love, then all she wanted is to live there. Her heart won’t tolerate another heart break. She knows, it is coming. Vansh would throw her out. Because now he is satisfied. He had punished her.. he had made her understand how deception is like!
She watched the pool in front of her. This pool had all kinds of memories for her. It was the place, where she fell for him. The day of Ishani’s marriage, she was drunk, and she was talking nonsense, but she remembered how cutely he was handling her. She fell for him that day.
She recalled their karwa chauth moments they spend there. Their first intimate moments! She wished she could cherish them once again.

Vansh! Vansh! Vansh! Still she is thinking about him. She had to forget him, got damn it! Why on earth she is remembering him still?
She had to leave everything.. his silhouette, which is imprinted in her mind; his fragrance, which still lingers around her body; his touch, which still is present over her skin..she had to escape from everything.

She stepped inside the pool and drowned herself. She smiled as she recalled his face in her mind. It’s her final goodbye to him! She will die, and he can live peacefully now.
She remebered he had saved her from drowning once, but today he won’t. And she apreciate that, as today she can finally leave this complicated life!

Still her heart yearns for him. To see him one last time. What had he done to her heart? She closed her eyes, as she felt the water engulfing her.
“Riddhima!”, She heard a fear stricken voice.
“Vansh”, she whispered inside the water as sleep overtook her.
Vansh rushed inside the pool and picked her. He wanted to punish her. He wanted to show her how it feels to be deceived, how it feels to be loved, just for a motive.. but he can’t! He can’t torture his life, which is she! She had become her everything.. He was ready to leave her, but then finally, his heart won the battle. He wanted to believe her one last time! Probably, she literally had tried to tell him truth. Probably, literally Kabir had taken that letter!
He ran towards his room and placed her on the bed. He started pressing her chest, so as to take out excess water. Water was coming out from her mouth, but still she wasn’t awake. He panicked. How can she leave him? No..he will not let that happen.. No. He love her!
He tried again.. he called her..
“Riddhima, Riddhima open your eyes. Look, your Vansh is here! I Love you Riddhima, please wake up!”, He cried.
He gave CPR, but no response.. He panicked more. He patted her cheeks.
Was he too late? Was he too late to follow his heart? He always followed whatever his brain said. But this time, looking at the guilt and tear stricken face of Riddhima gave him courage to follow his heart once. He wanted to trust her. But was he too late?
“Riddhima.. I trust you.. Please wake up!”, He whispered as he cried holding her hand.
Suddenly he saw her eyes moving, her chest falling as her breathing become normal. She opened her eyes and saw Vansh fully drenched in water.
He hugged her tighly, like she will disappear.
“Riddhima, don’t dare to leave me! I will follow you to hell! You can never escape from me!”, He said as he hugged her more tightly.
Riddhima was perplexed. What was he doing? Why he saved her? It was better if she died. Why? Why he wanted to make it more complicated?
“Riddhima.. I trust you!”, Vansh said as he cupped her face. Tears rolling down from his cheeks fell on her lap.
He trust her! He trust her! Those three words were more beautiful, then I Love You, for her. How madly she wished for his trust.. and finally he trust her now..

Dil ka sukoon
“Promise? Will you trust me still, if you get proofs against me?”, Riddhima voiced her fear. She need to know, if he is really willing to trust her, no matter what be the condition.
“Yes! I will always trust you! You are peace of my heart!”, He said as he placed her head over his heart, to tell her, that how it beats when she is near.

“You are the one, without whom I cannot think of living!”, Vansh finally confessed.
Riddhima smiled as she heard him say those words. There were many misunderstandings between them. Once she didn’t believed him, then she was manipulated, she got many proofs against him.. and similarly he too got many proofs against her, due to which he didn’t trusted her.
But love always have upper hand. It is more powerful. Yes, trust is something that strenghthens the relation, but love is something that irrigates it. Both of them cannot think of spending a second of their life without each other. And this fear, fear of losing their beloved, gave them strenght to trust them.
Now their path would not be a bed of roses.. there will be many hurdles, many hardships which they will face.. but now they won’t fall weak. Because now they have faith in each other. Together they can, and they will win every battle!
