Kanak meets Uma. Uma says truth had to come out some day, he is sorry that she saw truth via him. She says congratulates, 2 years ago his act ruined her happiness, he did the same today. He says he did not understand her. She says he is a businessman and thinks everything can be bought, but he is wrong. She returns money bag and says Akshay was testing her trust and seeing if she will sign papers without questioning him. He tries to speak, but she continues that love is not salable, because of him, she lost Akshay’s trust.
Akshay packs his clothes fuming what Kanak thinks of him. Bhabho walks in and ass what happened. He says her granddaughter does not trust him at all, he is going now, but he loves Bhabho, Kanak will not get a boy like him. Bhabho asks him to wait and rethink if she is right or wrong.
Uma tells Kanak that he just wanted to test if she is marrying a right person or not. She asks who is he to think about her, she is trying to move on, but why he is interfering, who gave him right, why he is so selfish. He says he is selfish, he cannot tolerate Akshay with her and it pains when he sees him holding her. He does not like a bit when Akshay comes near her, he is burning in jealousy. Kanak asks why he is jealous when he did not even try to find out if she is alive or dead, she cried a lot, but he did not even apologize or given the reason, he just asked her to go. He says he loves her a lot and cannot live without her.
Akshay excitedly tells Bhabho that he loves Kanak and will not go.
