Kanak gets tempted seeing food and thinks of having one rasgulla. Suman with Palomi peeps silently and thinks Kanak will eat rasgulla and will break her dhairya pariksha. Kanak extends her hand towards rasgulla, but stops seeing shivji’s idol and reminisces Bhabho’s moral gyaan that she should not get tempted while fasting. She starts working back. Palomi says Suman that she started working again. Suman angrily says bhabhi saa is very intelligent and must have seen us.

Uma returns and smiles seeing Kanak working. Kanak asks how he manages eating bland food and does not get tempted. He says we are what we think and make ourselves. She asks if he does not feel any desire. He emotionally says he feels to become 5-year-old again and ride on his father’s shoulder, even

after being tired his father used to carry him on shoulders. Kanak tries to keep her hand on his shoulder to give emotional support. He looks at her hand and he withdraws it back. Tu Sooraj mai Saanjh piyaaji…song..continues.

Payal fumes seeing Kanak completing Radha Krishna’s portrait. Shiv comes and she says she will recite him religious stories. Shiv says she heard them already via Kanak. She gets more angry. He asks her to give book and runs with book. She fumes more.

Family gets happy seeing Kanak finishing portrait on time. Shiv praises Uma that he prepares beautiful jhoolna every years, but this year’s bhabhi saa’s prepared jhoolna is outstanding. Saraswati brings sweets and says it is really beautiful. Maasi also gets impressed. Payal carries water bucket silently to balcony. Kanak notices it. Payal silently drops water and cries that she slipped and dropped water by mistake. Uma scolds that she spoilt Kanak’s hard work. Maasi asks him not to lose his courage trying to examine his wife’s courage and asks to inform temple that this time they cannot send jhoolna. Kanak says they will not break ritual and will follow like every year. She prepares portrait within given time.

Family takes portrait to temple. People praise that Uma’s jhoolna is always outstanding every year. Maasi calls Kanak and says he wants to reward her. Shiv says maasi’s gifts are always big. Maasi gives Kanak a bag. Kanak opens it and is surprised to see home keys. Payal burns in jealousy.

Precap: Uma sees something throwing jewelry bag from home and see’s woman/Payal’s hand in balcony. He tells family that someone was trying to give jewelry bag to an outsider. Kanak takes blame on her.
