Someone rang the bell to Sayi’s room. Sayi woke and found Rishika sleeping peacefully beside her. The bell rings again, she rushes to open the door, but doesn’t find anyone. On looking down, she finds a basket containing a few goodies and a note
“We appreciate your work in the field of medical science and are honored to have a capable doctor like you, who believes in serving the people. This is a small token from the Indian medical association. We hope more people take inspiration from you. ” She peeked out and saw similar basket kept in front of the rooms of fellow doctors.
She took the hamper and closed the door, which woke up Rishika
“Who is there?” Rishika woke up shocked.
“It’s me! Calm down, take deep breathes and again take deep breathes. I’m sorry, I should have been careful.”
“No, I’m okay! I don’t get attacks anymore like back then when someone suddenly closes the door or it is dark.”
“It’s good to see that you are recovering! Now since, you have woken up, it’s time for my serial!”
“Aaah!! Yes! Your serial! I don’t get what is in that serial that makes you so obsessed with it! That serial is surely the blessed one to be the only thing Dr. Sayi Joshi watches on television”
Sayi rolled her eyes and turned on the switch. Going through several channels, she finally found the one! It was the serial Mohit worked on.
“That’s Mohit dada” Sayi said as Mohit appeared
“Who doesn’t know The Mohit Chavan….wait a minute…..did you just say Mohit dada? You know him?? Where did you first met? How do you know him? He is literally the man every girl dreams of, but unfortunately, he is already married and he even has a kid now?”
“Mohit dada was the only one who supported me in that family. I have seen him since his struggling days, when he used to work in a theater. When the whole family stopped me from eating, he was the only person who sided me and even bought me food with the money he earned. He treated me like his own younger sister. Seeing him reach here makes me proud of him. And now he even became a dad! I so wish I could see my little niece or nephew once, if not as an aunt, then as a bua!”
“OMG!!! Why didn’t you tell me earlier? You know, all the girls in my class will die of jealousy!”
“That is the exact reason I didn’t tell you. Now promise to keep your mouth shut”
“How can I be so dumb? You kept mentioning Chavans and my mind didn’t for a single second, thought of the man who comes in my dreams every night. Okay! I will not tell anyone about it, but, my commission?”
“Your life doesn’t go without bribe right?”
She shook her head directing a ‘NO’ “I run on my principles and my principle is to only take bribe from you and no other person in this world”
“Fine! What do you want?”
“Let me think of it! I will tell you when time comes, it will be a debt on you.”
“Did I ever tell you that you are a Drama Queen?
“Yes! You call me a drama queen every second day!”
“Whatever! They sent this hamper, it has a schedule….”
Before Sayi could take it, Rishika snatched and started to go through it.
“It says the conference is of 3 hours, Boring! then 2 hours of felicitation, Super Boring and then the a party which will begin at 6:00 pm, Yes! This is it! This is what I life for! Tasty wines and food!”
“You are not allowed to get drunk!”
“I can hold my drinks better than you. it just takes a glass to get you down!”
“Since the events are tomorrow, what are we supposed to do right now?”
They pretended to think for a while.
“Sleep” both said in unison and pulled to blanket to go into deep slumber!

“Pakhi bhabhi, can you hold Arush for me for a while, I need to go out and bring some necessities”
“Didn’t you just went out not too long ago”
“I did, but I forgot to bring the wet wipes, and you know it well how necessary it is for him!”
“Then just give it someone in the family, they are dying to play with him anyways!”
“No! they don’t deserve my son!”
“Okay! Whatever! Keep him on the cradle, I will keep an eye!”
“That is my grandson and she doesn’t even let me enter the room, let alone watch a glimpse of him! Even my son will come after 10 days. Will I have to wait for 10 days to see my grandson?” Sonali complained to Bhavani, who was watching Karishma from afar.
“Even I can’t get what is running in Karishma’s mind. What does she exactly want?”
“Shall we directly ask her?”
“Sonali, when will you learn to apply brains? Do you think she will answer if we directly ask her?”
“I know my daughter in law pretty well in these years, she will surely answer if we push a little!”
“Then it is up to you to ask what she needs from us, to allow us to meet our grandson.”

Mohit finished his schedule and went inside his vanity. Just as he was about to step in, he received a message from an unknown number, asking him to meet him. He picked up a hoodie and black glasses, then went into some empty street, where a person wearing all black was waiting for him.
“What did you find?”
The person turned around and it was a man!
“The DNA reports don’t match, that child doesn’t belong to you. She took her every move carefully, I think she go to know that she was being followed. But what I found the most suspicious is that she would visit the store over 10 times every day and would buy wet wipes each time! So, that shopkeeper is our prime suspect. We thought of various ways to follow her, but she takes every step cautiously!”
“What should I do? My wife is literally cheating on me and I can do nothing!”
“I suspect she has some motive to do this, we will involve the police in this case, they will tape her mobile and give us her call details, but I suggest you to stay calm and play along till then. She already suspects that you sent detectives behind her. Make the best use of your acting, get her under confidence and we will be there to watch her commit a mistake!”
“Thank you so much, for helping me out with this! I already thought something was fishy…”
He goes to the flash back where he heard Karishma talking to someone when she asked him to get an ice cream and when she talked about the baby being her pawn. He called the detective and asked to keep an eye on his wife. He then reminisce how the detective called him when he was with Karishma in the hospital and told he found someone wandering around his house and a pregnant woman coming out to hug him a day before her delivery!
“I don’t know why you did this, but the moment I find out your truth, I will make you beg for your life Karishma Chavan” Mohit thought to himself
Mohit gives the man a bundle of money and both go in different directions hiding!
Mohit reaches his vanity, where the director was already waiting for him to discuss the next scene!

Karishma wears her air pods and calls someone
“I think I’m still being followed. Thank god, it was you who saw them, else, I would have been gone by now!”
“But you know we still can’t take a risk, you can’t underestimate that family” Came a man’s voice
“I know Avi, I know I need to take every step carefully in order to not get caught, anyways, I’m coming to meet you.”
“I actually wanted to meet you to discuss the next step.”
Flashback shows how Karishma went out of the house the moment Mohit went for the shoot with an excuse of bringing the wet wipes! She was on the way, when she gets a call
“Yes Avinash!”
“Take the right lane”
“But, I always take the left one, it leads me to you”
“I think someone is following you, just take a right turn and go to the nearby store, I will meet you at the cash counter!”
She obliged and they figured out she was being followed. Since, then they decided to meet and discuss this way.
Present time
Karishma reached the store, she looked at a man at the cash counter, and both smiled towards each other. Karishma picked up a few items for her baby and wet wipes, then went to the cash counter, where that man gave her a letter.
“It has the details of your next step. All the best!”
“But what do I have to do now?”
“Last time, you got successful in getting Sayi out, she was an easy target, this time, you have to get that Pakhi out of the way. She will be a tougher one, because those fools admire her the most”
“Don’t worry, I will find a way”
She paid her bills and left thinking.
Karishma reaches back home smirking “Pakhi bhabhi, you indirectly helped me a lot in making Sayi out of my way, but now, it’s time for me to repay you. I don’t like keeping debts, so, I will repay you, by ousting you the same way, you ousted Sayi!”

Avinash reaches an old bungalow, where everything is covered in white. He holds the picture of a man in military outfit and begins crying.
“I’m sorry papa, I couldn’t save you, but I promise to take revenge for you on your behalf!”
*Flashback*
A little boy is playing in the backyard in military outfit, holding a fake gun. He hides behind a pillar and points the gun on the same man in the picture.
“Commander, the target is locked. I order to fire ddu ddu ddu ddu ddu ddu”
“Aahhhhh” the man pretend to fall and the child went to him, jumping around “I will kill all the enemies of the nation like this. And I will earn more medals than papa”
“Yes my little soldier” the man picked up his son and spun around!
“Subedaar Rajnish Shekhawat”
“Yes officer” Rajnish kept down his son, and sent him off to play. The little boy stood behind the pillar.
The officer is revealed to be Ninad
“The high command has issued an arrest warrant for you.”
“But why sir?”
“Our official data have been leaked and turns out someone from our unit was the one leaking them. You are the prime suspect! This is a threat to national security, as we had a close encounter yesterday and you are very well aware of the fact that we lost our 11 bravest soldiers due to the negligence. The enemy knew the exact place and time of our patrolling!”
“I swear, I would kill myself before betraying my country. I didn’t do anything”
“You have to come with us for now, then an inquiry will be done. You will be released if found innocent and highly punished if found guilty! As for now, we have suspended you and request us to handover the official gun and medals to us.”
The man picks up his gun from the pocket and keeps it on his head. The child gets scared seeing his father keep a real gun on his head.
“They suggested me to shoot myself when caught” he said acting like a psychopath “I never thought that the Indian system would be this quick into finding me. I’m impressed! I offer you to join….(Few officers came from behind to catch him) Don’t you dare try to come close to, else I will shoot myself for real (all stepped back)! So where was I? yes! I offer you to join hands with the other side. You don’t have to do much, just keep sending them data, they will ensure your safety and kill other soldiers, in return they will give you enough money, much more than Indian government can ever give you. You will lead a very happy and peaceful life!”
“I accept a few pennies less, but will never even dream of betraying my country! Good that you already confessed, our work will be easier now!”
“You won’t be able to catch me” Rajnish started to laugh evilly and shot himself on his head!
“Papaaaaa” his son ran to his father’s side, but the army men didn’t let him go near the body.
Present day
“Papaaaaa” Avinash forwards his hand.
“I will take the revenge of your death from the whole Chavan family.”
He again goes to the flashback, how he once worked as an electrician and installed a camera in the living room of the Chavan Niwas
He would keep monitoring the happenings in that house. He kept the photos of every member of the family in a softboard. Circling the photo of Karishma “She will be my first target and my pawn!”
He started to keep an eye on Karishma and following her. Then, on the decided day, he approached her.
“Miss”
“Are you talking to me?” she looked around
“Uhh…yes!”
“Do I really look like an unmarried person?”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t get what you mean.”
“You addressed me as miss right??”
“Wait. No way….are you really married?”
“Yes!”
“Oh My God, I stopped you to ask if you were a film actress, because you are so beautiful!”
“Thank you!” she said shyly and ran away
The next day, he gave her an expensive gift. She first hesitated, then took it right away. She would come out in the market everyday to secretly meet him, and they would keep talking about random stuff, sometimes would also eat the street foods and drink sugarcane juice. These secret meetings continued for another 2 months, till he declared his love for her and she responded positively.
Karishma now paid less attention to work and family and would find excuses to go out to meet him. One day, he invited her to his place. She went straight without questioning. That day, the sparks flew and they became one.
By now, Avinash was diverted from his goal a bit, as he too seemed to have fallen for Karishma’s innocent talks and cute tactics.
Avinash, now revealed the whole truth about his past to Karishma and asked if she would support him in it or not. He gave her the greed of naming all the properties of Chavan’s and his on her name. In the greed of property and money, she agreed to help him.
After 2 months, one day, Karishma came to him crying
“What happened, why are you crying?” he tried to console her by hugging
“Avinash, I’m pregnant!”
“Congratulations!”
“I’m pregnant with your child!”
“What? How? When? Why?”
“Are you not happy?”
“Of course! I’m happy, but…”
“but… we will have to find a way to handle the Chavans”
“That is secondary, those people are literally the dumbest creatures to ever exist. Their CNS (Central Nervous System) is that Sayi. She runs her brain a bit too much and she is now a doctor”
“No one values her in that house, she is no harm to us. She is stuck with her own problems”
“Don’t underestimate her, find out a way to oust her! You first go and give your family the news that you and Mohit are expecting, by the time, I will think of a plan. And, I have planted a camera in your living room, so make sure most of the things happen there.”
As per the plan, Karishma went home and told everyone. The reactions of the Chavans are always overboard, they all rejoiced, did a pooja, called priests and started to take extra care of Karishma.
During the same time, Mohit passed the first stage of the audition and is called for the final round to be casted in a TV serial.
On her way to home, from college, Sayi saw Karishma with a man who didn’t looked like Mohit.
She approached them
“Karishma, what are you doing here, and who is this man?”
“He is a friend from college, he is getting married soon, so came to invite me” Karishma lied.
“Yes! I will send the official invite on your address. I will be blessed, if the whole family is able to attend my wedding. I’m an orphan, I don’t have parents, my mother died as she gave birth to me, and father committed suicide when I was 10” Avinash supported Karishma’s lie and tried to emotionally manipulate Sayi!
Sayi went away congratulating him and sympathizing with him, promised to attend his marriage. As, she went out of site they started to think of ways to remove her from their way as soon as possible!
Another flashback shows how it was Avinash who bribed a student to get close to Sayi and do everything, he clicked the pictures of Sayi and sent it on the name of Pakhi through post. He again bribed that student to show some closeness with Sayi and act friendly, especially when Virat comes to Sayi’s hospital. It was Karishma who manipulated Pakhi against Sayi and asked her to fight for her love. They teamed up and kept framing Sayi, till she went out of their house!
Present day
“You were innocent Sayi Joshi, but your habit of being nosy was a threat to my plan. I knew you would be nosy about everything, so removing you from the way was the first thing I had to do. In a way, it is for your own good. You will be safe from the bad doom of the Chavans. As for Pakhi, she is also following the same steps as you, I will need to remove her from my way too”
He turns the wall and the soft-board appears, he had already crossed Karishma and Sayi in red and now circled Pakhi, indicating her to be the next target.
