Tunisha Sharma suicide case: Sheezan Khan’s family denies love jihad allegations; says “She used to wear hijab for shoot”
Sheezan Khan’s family and his advocate Shailendra Mishra recently held a press conference in Mumbai on January 2 wherein they rubbished the claims of love jihad. They also shared that Sheezan never forced Tunisha Sharma to wear a hijab.
Sheezan’s sisters – Shafaq and Falaq Naaz were also present at the press conference. They showed a photo from the shoot and said, “Tunisha’s mother is saying that she was forced to wear hijab, this is the proof that it was from the channel and not us.”
Sheezan’s advocate Shailendra Mishra also added, “Police have dismissed the love jihad angle from day 1. The case is not related to love jihad. The second allegation is that Tunisha was forced to wear a hijab and learn Urdu. When it comes to hijab, watch the 21st episode of Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. It was shot during Ganesh Chaturthi and the costume was from there. The two participated in Ganpati puja on the set and that photo was posted on social media wishing everyone. We can submit proof to you all.”
At the press conference, Sheezan’s lawyer also claimed that Tunisha was not happy with her own family. “After her father’s demise, Tunisha used to remain upset. The last birthday she celebrated with her father was the only one where she was happy. It was the first time she was going to celebrate happily. Sanjeev Kaushal and Vanita used to control Tunisha’s finances. Tunisha often pleaded in front of her mother for her own money.”
The family also shared that Tunisha used to visit their home and had friendly ties with everyone. They claimed that Sheezan and Tunisha had not broken up and the actress’ family is fabricating stories that have no logic.
