TV actor Kanwar Dhillon MEETS WITH AN ACCIDENT

TV actor Kanwar Dhillon met with an accident recently and is currently at home nursing a leg injury. As per his interview in the Bombay Times, he talked about his injury in detail He said, “It was a gathering at this place, for my friend/actor Aakanksha Singh’s husband Kunal’s birthday party wherein other actors were also present. The place is known for its fun trampolin activities and games you can play out there but there is also a high risk involved if not done properly! We were all busy having fun and playing a team game of Trampolin Dodgeball when the incident happened out of nowhere. I tried to duck a ball thrown at me while playing and since we were jumping on the trampolin at the same time, I jumped at the wrong time only to end up landing on a completely twisted ankle on the other end of the surface. Since it happened on the trampolin, I completely lost balance only to fall with my complete body weight on the twisted ankle. I literally felt something drastic happened to my leg in that very moment! It was the most painful incident i have had in my entire life and this is also my first fracture ever.”

The actor felt that it was just the wrong footwear and wrong landing that added to his injury. He added, “Xrays were done and I have ended up with major ligament tears around the ankle. Having the leg plastered to cure the injured ligaments, I have been advised complete bed rest for four weeks but I am just moving around a little for my meetings strictly with some help and my shoe brace. For an overly active person like me its difficult to sit in one place for a long time.”
“The only let down from this incident is that I was finally doing an interesting web series (cannot mention details) after a long chase in that territory but had to back out of it due to this incident since they had a tight schedule & were to start shooting this month anyhow. I guess destiny has different plans for you sometimes. However,I cannot wait to get rid of the plaster, stand on my feet & get going with a new project soon!”
