Not everyone who falls in love is meant to be together. There are many ups and down in every relationship and sometimes, it hits a patch from which there is no coming back. There are a few TV couple who have seen those rough patches in their lives and have broken it off with the one who they loved the most at one point in time.

Choreographer and dancer Melvin Louis and actress Sana Khan started dating just last year. But suddenly, Sana took to her social media account one day and announced that she has broken up with Melvin, claiming that he cheated on her.
Sana told the Times of India in an interview, “I broke up with Melvin because he was cheating on me. I had loved him with all my heart and was committed to him. What I got in return has disturbed and shaken me. I have developed anxiety issues and am dealing with depression ever since.” Elaborating on how she found out he was cheating, Sana told the daily, “A few days ago, I felt that he was up to something. Since I had my doubts, I took his mobile phone, which he snatched back from me and started deleting messages. That’s when I realised that whatever people told me about him was true, and I ended the relationship. In fact, I have come to know that he has already moved on with somebody else. I know who the girl is, but it’s not right on my part to reveal her name.”
She added, “I may have walked out of the relationship physically, but mentally and emotionally, I am still in it. I wanted to marry him. I don’t think I can trust any man now.”
“Nach Baliye 9” couple Faisal Khan and Muskaan Kataria, looked like a pitch perfect couple as they danced their way to fans’ hearts. The couple who left the show due to injuries, have ended their relationship. Muskaan confirmed the news, and said, “Yes, Faisal and I have broken up.” There are reports that the couple had trust issues.
“Kasuatii Zindagi Kay’s” Prerna aka Shweta got married to Raja when she was still a teenager, way back in 1998. Soon after problems cropped up between the two; and the relationship slowly turned to be physically and emotionally abusive for the actress. But, Shweta stayed on for the sake of her relationship and her daughter, Palak. In 2007, Shweta finally gathered the courage and walked out of the toxic relationship. In 2012 their divorce was finalised.
Thereafter, Shweta went on to marry Abhinav Kohli. The actor was in news recently, when she and her daughter reportedly accused Abhinav Kohli of domestic violence. She, in an interview, claimed to have dealt with it like an infection in the body which could be poisonous. She is now staying separately with her daughter and son.
While everyone thought that these two will get married, their breakup came as a shock. Pavitra Rishta” stars Sushant and Ankita shocked their fans as they announced the news of their break-up. On May 4, 2016, “Kai Po Che” actor confirmed the break-up when he wrote on his Twitter page: “Neither she was an alcoholic nor I am a womaniser. People do Grow apart & its unfortunate. Period!!”
Ankita has found love again in businessman Vicky Jain and Sushant is reportedly dating actress Rhea Chakraborty.
Television actors Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat, who have been married for seven years now, have decided to part ways amicably. They have been living separately for quite some time.
They released an official joint statement which was published by Hindustan Times. It read as, “Yes, we are living separately. This decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families. We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin. Appreciate if no further speculation is made and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the love you have always given us.”
This couple definitely won a lot of hearts when they came together on the couple dance reality show “Nach Baliye”. But in 2014, after five years of marriage, Dalljiet called it quits. According to reports, it was Shaleen’s violent behaviour that forced Dalljiet to take this decision. Dalljiet had even filed police complaint against Shaleen. It was also reported that their relationship had been on rocks for quite some time, and that Dalljiet had even moved out of her husband’s home with her then one-year-old son.
Karan met Jennifer on the sets of “Dill Mill Gayye”. As they worked together, they grew close. And on April 9, 2012, they tied the knot. The jodi was a hit on screen and their marriage recieved a lot of love from their fans. And that is why their fans were left shocked when in 2014, TV’s sweethearts Karan and Jennifer called it quits.
Grover got married to Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu on April 30, 2016.
2015 started on a sad note for TV couple Ssharad and Divyanka. The couple, who grew close while working together in the show “Banoo Main Teri Dulhhan” and had been together for seven years, hit the rock bottom and quit the relationship. It was apparently Ssharad’s indecisiveness related to marriage as well as the pressure of his growing professional commitments that got in between their relationship.
While, Divyanka is married to TV actor Vivek Dahiya, Ssharad got hitched to Ripici Bhatia.
