TV show Sanjog to go off-air on November 25 after just three months of its launch
The TV show, Sanjog, which features Kamya Panjabi, Shefali Sharma, and Rajniesh Duggall in lead roles, is all set to go off-air on November 25. The show was launched on August 22 and is now all set to bid farewell to its viewers after a runtime of just 3 months.
A source told BT, “We, too, have heard the buzz but are yet to receive an official confirmation from the channel and the production house. It’s extremely disappointing as Sanjog is a beautiful concept. It would have been better if the channel gave us some time. It takes a while to forge a connection with the audience and three months is just not enough.”
Earlier in an interview Kamya talked to BT about what prompted her to take up Sanjog. She said, “I was offered a few shows but I didn’t take them up, as I didn’t want to be associated with any run-of-the-mill project. Sirf paise kamaane hote toh phir alag baat hoti. Of course, I want to make money but I also seek work for satisfaction. I am my own competition. So, I want to try something new with every show and improve my graph. I have worked with the production house on Shakti and I know that they will call me only if the character is good. Otherwise, I will give them sleepless nights (laughs!). It’s different from what I have done so far.”
