Next Morning
Twinkle and Kunj were sleeping in each other’s embrace in their wedding outfits. Twinkle woke up and saw that she was sleeping on Kunj chest and he was holding her protectively. A smile appeared on her face. She slowly tried to come out of Kunj grip. However, her mangulstura was stuck in Kunj sherwani button. She didn’t want to wake him up so she slowly removed it and went to get ready. When she came out of the shower she was wearing a simple maxi dress as she still needed to decided what to wear. Kunj woke up after some time and saw Twinkle struggling to decide what to wear.
Good morning he said grabbing her attention. She looked around and smiled at him. Good morning she replied. Kunj got out of bed and went to his cupboard. He handed Twinkle a bag that had a peach and gold salwar kameez (the same one Kunj gifted Twinkle during their first date).
Kunj= You can wear this today if you want
Twinkle nodded her head and smiled whilst Kunj kissed her cheek and went in the shower. Twinkle touched her cheek and smiled. After 15 minutes Kunj came out of the shower and saw that Twinkle was dressed in the outfit he had gifted. She was struggling to wear her mangulstura. Kunj went and helped her wear her mangulstura.
Twinkle= thanks
Kunj= no problem, by the way you look beautiful. She had left her hair open, wore some bangles and applied some light make up. He looked at her and she looked at him. They both shared an eye-lock for a few seconds that was broken by Twinkle.
Twinkle= umm shall we go down
Kunj= yep
They went downstairs . Twinkle went and took blessings from the elders who were in the kitchen whilst Kunj went to attend a phone call he had received.
Twinkle= aunty what can I do?
Usha= Twinkle beta call me maa not aunty
Twinkle smiled and nodded her head
Bebe= Twinkle puttar in our family there is a tradition that a new daughter in law only makes a sweet dish and then she doesn’t cook until her mehndi has come out.
Twinkle= What shall I make?
Usha= anything you want beta
Aliya= BTW Bhabhi Kunj bhai likes gajar ka halwa
Twinkle smiled whilst Bebe held Aliya ear and took her out of the kitchen.
Usha= Twinkle beta if you need anything Niki and Maya are here so ask them
Twinkle= Ji
Usha left the kitchen too. Twinkle was very happy as she could feel true care and love amongst the family members. She began to peel carrots for gajar ka halwa whilst Niki began a conversation.
Niki= Twinkle, let me give you and maya some advice. Maya this will be useful for you after you get married to Cherry
Twinkle= Ji Bhabhi?
Niki= Don’t rush in having children. Twinkle looked at Maya who looked back at her. Niki continued, Ishan was born within a year of marriage which lead to me and ananad getting responsible more quickly. When Ishaan grew up and was 3 we thought we could spend some time together but then I found out I was pregnant again with Aarav. Now that Ishaan is 4 he has started pre-school and Aarav is at home with me as he is only 1. I love both of my boys a lot but I wish I still spent some more time with Anand before we became parents. Bebe, Mummy Ji and everyone are always there to look after Ishaan and Aarav when me and anand want go out. But you understand what I mean right……
Twinkle nodded her head. In her head she was blushing thinking about how her and Kunj children would be like.
Maya in a teasing tone= Bhabhi how was your night?
Good Twinkle said without understanding Maya intensions. Maya and Niki both looked at each other and smirked .
Niki= So Twinkle did you get enough sleep she said giggling
Twinkle looked up towards Maya and Niki and understood what they meant.
Twinkle= I didn’t mean that she protested
Niki= Its ok if you did we are just teasing you how sisters tease each other.
The word SISTER echoed in Twinkle ear as she remembered how her sisters used to treat her. She had a few tears in her eyes but quickly wiped them away before anyone could see them. She thanked Baba ji in her head for giving her a happy sasural.
Breakfast table
Everyone was eating breakfast and appreciated Twinkle gajar ka halwa.
Manohar= Kunj here are some tickets for you and Twinkle. You two are going Italy for your honeymoon next week Monday.
Kunj= Thanks Dad
Maya who was sitting next to Twinkle whispered in her ear= Remember what Niki Bhabhi said.
Twinkle looked at Maya and smiled
Soon everyone finished breakfast and went to do their individual things.
TWINJ Room
Kunj= Twinkle ummm maa said that RT uncle is coming to pick you up at 11 for the pag phere rasam
Twinkle eyes filled up with tears= I don’t want to go Kunj
Kunj= please don’t cry now babes, I will come to collect you in an hour I promise
Twinkle= Ok , she then realised that Kunj called her babes. Umm Kunj what did you call me
Kunj= Babes he said casually
Twinkle blushed as she felt happy. She had only been in her new home with her new family for 15 hours but she could feel the care and love that she never experienced in Taneja Mansion.
RT came some time later to collect Twinkle.
Manohar-to-RT= Welcome RT
RT= thank you
Twinkle came sometime with Kunj. She went with Kunj and took blessings from RT. She looked at Kunj one more time before they left. He assured her with her eyes that he would arrive shortly.
The car Journey was very quiet. RT sat down at the front of the car with the driver whilst Twinkle sat down at the back. RT spoke to Twinkle but she only answered in Yes or No. She was texting Kunj as she was getting bored and was scared to go back. They reach Taneja Mansion after 20 minutes. Twinkle was shocked to see her mother and sisters were waiting for her outside. She came out of the car and her mother hugged her. She was shocked, her sisters also did the same thing. They took her inside and made her sit down on the sofa and everyone surrounded her.
Leela= Beta how is Kunj and his family?
Twinkle= They very nice
RT phone rang so he excused himself. Leela also went in the kitchen to check if lunch was ready.
Alisha= was everything ok yesterday?
Twinkle shook her head and smiled.
Mahi= Twinkle Di we missed you so much?
Twinkle= Really Mahi? What a joke she said
They felt bad with the way Twinkle was behaving.
Chinki= Di how are your sister in laws
Twinkle= they’re really sweet
Her sisters were also jealous as Twinkle was complementing her in laws a lot.
Leela called them for lunch
Everyone sat down for lunch
Chinki= Di maa has made all your favorite dishes Twinkle smiled brightly
When she looked at the table and saw none of her favorite dishes there was daal, chawal and bindi
Twinkle in her head= WOW maa still don’t know what my favorite dishes are, well I guess I never used demand for anything.Everyone began to eat when the door bell rang. Leela went to open the door, it was Kunj.
Leela= Kunj welcome home
Kunj= Thanks aunty, is Twinkle ready
Leela= Puttar she only came now, she is eating, you come and eat too
Kunj= Jee
He went inside and saw Twinkle eating. As soon as Twinkle was Kunj a huge smiled appeared on her face. This was noticed by Leela who happy for her daughter.
RT= Kunj welcome son, come eat. He sat down opposite Twinkle
Kunj= Aunty maa sent me to get Twinkle as it’s the mooh dukiya rasam at 1.30 he lied
Twinkle understood his lie
Leela= Ok puttar eat then go
Kunj= ji aunty
They were eating lunch quietly when suddenly Twinkle felt some one touching her feet. She looked in her opposite direction and saw Kunj smirking at her. She understood it was him. They both then played footsie with each other. Chinki whose spoon dropped on the floor saw this and told Mahi who was sat down next to her. They both giggled amongst themselves. After lunch they both left Taneja Mansion. Everyone in Taneja Mansion were still feeling guilty for their behaviour with Twinkle but were happy for her. Her sisters were feeling a bit jealous of her though
In the car
Kunj= I promised you that you will be back in an hour
Twinkle= I know, how did you do that?
Kunj= I left the house 20 minutes after you, it took 20 minutes to get to your house and in 20 minutes we left from there
Twinkle= Clever
Kunj= since birth
They both look at each other and laugh.
They decided to go to the cinema to watch a movie so no-one would ask why Twinkle was back early. They went back home at 4pm. The rest of the day was spent with Twinkle playing with Ishaan , being with the family and knowing more about Kunj.
Night Time
Twinj Room
Twinkle and Kunj were laying down on the bed talking with each other.
Kunj= Twinkle tomorrow we will have to go to office as there is a meeting with the clients from Brazil
Twinkle= Office, do I have too
Kunj= yeah why don’t you want too
Twinkle= I don’t mind but my co-workers and everyone will ask me about how we got married and all
Kunj= forget about office for now and lets go to sleep its quiet late
Twinkle= ummmmm….. can I use the pillow I used yesterday if you don’t mind
Kunj smiled and put her head on his chest and held her firmly.Thank you she said
Twinkle PoV= Baba ji thank you so much for giving me a husband like Kunj and a family like him I cant thank you enough.
They both smile and sleep in each others embrace
