Ooh I am sure there’s a lot of curiosity built up in each one of you, since I had assured you all that I would reveal something major about twinj’s past. And it’s high time to relieve your curiosities a little.

Twinj: When I fell for you: Episode 5
A quick recap: Twinj and Amaya’s shopping venture, Alisha’s introduction.
Noticing the question mark on the faces of the elders and Aman, Alisha begins explaining about her and Kunj being together.
“Aunty, uncle, Kunj and I have been dating for a year now. We were just waiting for the right time to reveal this to you. We both really love each other, and wish to spend our entire lives together…”
Listening to this, Manohar and RT were in a daze, their wives didn’t know how to react, Amaya and Yuvi fumed in anger, and Twinkle…
Twinkle kept muttering, “ek saal… Aur mujhe shak bhi nahi hone diya”
(“One year… And I didn’t even get a single clue”)
Aman’s expression was the most confused. Chinki was just holding Twinkle’s hand, unable to accept the harsh truth herself.
Aman was desperate to know what was happening, and he knew that Twinkle not only needed to get away from there, but also she was the only one who could answer all his questions calmly. Twinkle had always been like that, an epitome of sacrifice, very mature, and knew how to handle each situation, even when the elders would give up.
So, he took Twinkle to her room. Chinki accompanied them.
“Kya ho raha hai yahaan? Kunj aur Alisha ek saath? Koi mujhe kuch batayega?” He asked in one go, even more worried looking at the confused, expressionless faces of the girls.
He jerked Twinkle’s hand, bringing her out of her thoughts, and stared at her with a demanding look.
Twinkle looked in front, her face void of any emotion. She began speaking with deep pain in her voice.
” Aman, main ab jo bhi kahungi, use bilkul shant hoke sunna. Aur agar tumne violently react ki to tujhe meri kasam. ”
(” Aman, listen to whatever I tell you now calmly. Swear that you won’t react violently.”)
Aman nodded in agreement.
Chinki knew that Twinkle wouldn’t be able to narrate the incident, and told Aman about the high school reunion party. She told him that Twinj had been laughing and enjoying together, cuddling with each other, until Kunj went out to attend a call. He had returned with Alisha, and when everyone questioned him about the two being together, he replied that they loved each other. Twinkle walked over to Kunj, held his hand, and told everyone that he was joking, and that Twinj were in love with each other. Kunj jerked off her hand, and spoke thus:
“You really thought that I love you Twinkle? Oh come on, who can fall in love with a bookworm like you? When you told me that you loved me, I was just testing if you were honest. I am dating Alisha now and I…. love her”
Twinkle looked on, and there was something in Kunj’s tone, which sounded different. He wasn’t her Sadu Sarna. He was some totally different person. She walked away from the party, eyes blur due to all the tears.
Listening to all this, Aman was in tears, and managed to control himself with great difficulties since Twinkle had made him swear. Also, he knew that his speaking about it again would only increase the pain everyone was already feeling.
The trio then went downstairs, and saw RT and Manohar talking. They saw the trio coming down too and quickly changed the topic of discussion from their lack of happiness in Kunj and Alisha being together, to something else, something that would sound convincing and real. They didn’t want to hurt Twinkle anymore. Pain was already evident on her face.
“We had amalgamated the Taneja and Sarna empires to create the Sareja(Sarna+Taneja) empire just to save ourselves from drowning. Little did we know then, that not only would our business improve tremendously, but also both families would unite…” RT spoke emotionally, with a satisfying look on his face.
“Of course, and who had thought that the kids too would join hands with us at Sareja? Yuvi handles the finances, Kunj is in charge of the production, Aman looks after the marketing, advertising and press interactions and Twinkle is going to join very soon as the head of the HRD soon. These kids work really hard, manage their responsibilities appreciably and give me a hope for an even brighter future”,Manohar chipped in.
“Oh, you are forgetting Dr.Amaya, the famous vet, and of course Chinki, our fashion designer… The kids never failed to make us proud..”, RT concluded.
“Aww how sweet uncle! You have made even me and Chinki a part of your family… Thank you so much”, Aman spoke, giving both RT and Manohar a hug, and Twinkle and Chinki too join in. They smile with tears of joy, watching the rest of the family enjoying themselves.
