The car stopped at Manali, they had come there for honeymoon. It was snowing heavily. They had booked a house of their own. They both stood in front of their house. Twinkle waited as Kunj unlocked the door. He had her eyes palmed as he wanted to surprise her. “Let’s go Twinkle,” he said. “Yes but move your hand,” she said. “It’s a surprise,” he said. “But now how much suspence will you maintain further? It’s too much,” she said. “You’re just a step away from this suspence, just step forward and I will move my hand,” he said smilingly.
She was about to step inside by left foot. “Umhm no no, step in with right foot,” he said and she pouted but stepped inside as he said. Just then he moved away his palm. She gasped looking at the beautiful house. “Wow, this house is so beautiful,” she said smilingly. “That’s why I told you to keep your eyes shut and let me maintain the suspence, and look how this surprise turned out to be, beautiful, just like you, our relationship, and our moments,” he said and she smiled at him, he smiled back and they had a hug.

Kunj was sitting deep in thoughts at afternoon when Twinkle came and sat beside him jerking him out of this thoughts. “What are you thinking?” She asked. “I feel like I have come here before as well, this place looks so familiar, this cold weather, this snowfall, all this makes me feel so nostalgic, I don’t know why,” he said and she patted his hair to relax him. “It happens, but let’s talk about this later, I have set the table for lunch, come,” she said and they went together and sat to dine.

At evening, they both went out for a walk in the snowfall hand in hand. “Suna hai sard mausam mein purani yaadein ati hain, Mujhe bhi yaad karlo tum Mujhe tum yaad aati ho,” Kunj said a shayari all of a sudden surprising Twinkle for the second time that day. “Wow, you’re just awesome,” she said smilingly. “Main shayar toh nahi, magar dekh Kar tujhko mujhko shayari agayi,” he sung making her blush, he smiled. They reached a cafe and sat on the table and ordered coffee. “Kunj, why did you order coffee? I want something cold in this cold like ice cream, please please please,” she said making a puppy face.
“No no, you will get ill,” he said. “But we came here to have fun in this snow,” Kunj insisted. “Okay fine, but I will have something hot only,” Neil said and she giggled. “Yeah I know because you’re hot and I m thandi thandi cool cool,” she joked and they had a laugh. Kunj ordered ice cream and admired her while having coffee. The way she ate like a child getting totally lost was what he liked about her that she enjoys her life to the fullest and spreads happiness wherever she goes.
She noticed him looking at her and she offered it to him but he was very lost in admiring her, she noticed this and touched the ice cream on his nose. He jerked and looked at his nose and then at her, she was giggling. “Wow, was this what you wanted to do? This is what you do in the name of fun?” He said pretending to be angry. She frowned and looked down. “Sorry,” she said and cleaned it by by her sleeve. “Just joking,” he said taking her ice cream touching the cream on her nose too.
“Haww,” she said. “Same pinch,” he said laughingly and she creased her eyebrows and frowned. She put the whole ice cream on his face and she too laughed. “Now… This is what we call as same pinch,” she said and poked her tongue out at him. “Devil,” he said and she ran away. He too ran after her till they reached a place full of snow. Her feet sank in the snow and she fell on her knees. He too fell on her knees. She laughed. He got some snow in his hands and rubbed it all over her face making her gasp.
“Kunj, I won’t leave you,” she said and took some snow in her hands but he ran before that. She stood up and ran after him throwing the snow on him. “Enough beta enough, already you have had ice cream, do you want to get sick and spoil the honeymoon with you honey, beta? And also don’t you want to do stargazing at night with this moon husband of yours, beta?” He asked jokingly. “Nooooo,” she said like a child and pouted. “Call me baby but don’t call me beta, I m not your beta, I m your wifey.”
“Okay okay wifey, now let’s go, baby,” he said and she smiled and nodded and they began to leave but then she stopped him. “What happen?” He asked. “I want to do a Pinky promise here by making the sign on the snow like the alone twins, I loved how they promised by making the sign on the mud on the beach,” she said. “So when we will go on beach, we will do it,” he said. “Okay but at least we can make hearts of each other’s name,” she said and he agreed, they sat down.
Twinkle made a big heart and wrote Kunj’s name in it. Kunj also made a big heart and wrote Twinkle’s name in it. They took photo of it and then walked off. The hearts soon got erased by the snow.

At night, Kunj and Twinkle slept cuddling to each other.
Twinkle’s POV:
I woke up to what seemed like someone walking and dragging something.
Tick tick scrape tick tick scrape tick tick scrape.
I turned to my left and saw Kunj wasn’t there on the bed. So that means it’s him downstairs who’s dragging something, but what? I pushed my duvet and went outside to see what’s going on. To my shock, he was dragging a dead body.
