When I met you: (shot-04)
The journey started silently,
‘If you don’t mind you can share your sadness with me?’ She finally spoke after struggling within herself to ask him about his past.
‘I am fine,’ his answer didn’t answer her question.
‘Who’s the girl?’ She asked placing her hand on his shoulder as he started to narrate.
It all happened few months ago, I knew her from my school days, we thought we are best friends forever. I never felt any feelings for her untill she showed some interest in me during our college days. Our unnamed relationship continued even after college and I got settled in my dad’s company. I wooed her everytime and she always gave me that one smile which answered all my questions about our bonding. When ever she needed me I was there, I felt it as more than a love and started considering her as my life, she always regarded me as her saviour who put his life in risk just for her safety but I failed to see another face of her’s…and ….as said betrayal always comes from the most trusted person right!!
She used me to what ever extent she wanted and enjoyed my money while I took too long to see and realise her realities even they were unveiled.
I planned an amazing dinner for us on a beachside and waited for her to confess my love on her birthday, which was few months before.
I brought her favourite imported chocolates as a gift and most precious diamond piece of set to promise her to keep her happy till the end.
But…. waiting for her arrival lasted longer and longer and I didn’t realise that I was not waiting for her but for an unwanted dusk. Still without any regrets I went to her place and couldn’t find her there. I searched for her everywhere and after being restless for two days I got a call from her.
I, being a fool felt immense happiness by her return and I had this amazing feeling of finding back the lost but most precious thing. Without any delay, I got ready to dine with her late in the evening.
With the same feeling of kite flying high in the sky I went to meet her but only a chain of shocking events awaited me there.
Very lately, it dawned upon me that she left me but still my heart wasn’t ready to accept the realities.
At my first sight of her’s, I saw her married as vermillion adorned her forehead and a sacred thread in her neck.That was more than enough for me to breakdown but still I plastered a smile as all the happiness in my eyes drained away.
Secondly, she married a guy who is my business partner, my childhood best friend; Aryan. I saw them happy together and I could hardly controll myself as the dinner went on in complete silence
‘What’s this Maya?’ I questioned her demanding answers as soon as Aryan excused to take a call.
‘Kunj, it’s about my life. I felt I deserve more better things so took this sudden situation and moreover we never had that kinda relationship between us and I don’t know why you took it seriously, it’s your fault not mine,’ her answer was clear and sharp enough to break my heart into millions of pieces.
Yes, she clearly stated that she worked upon her betterment of life. It was me before but now it’s my friend. She didnt accept the fact of cheating me but clearly confessed her apologies for the betrayal and that was the last time I heard her.
I don’t know what happened further as I stared breaking my ties with Aryan personally and professionally which resulted in ending up myself in the middle of huge blunder. I messed up my life as well as my company but it didn’t matter a lot infront of her absence.
As he finished they reached the destination and within this short time twinkle understood that he just didnt love the girl but became quite obsessed too.
‘No one knows about it even my family,’ kunj stopped his bike infront of a huge apartment but he wondered what made him tell all these things to a mere girl whom he just met.
Questions are still veiled!!
Once questions become clear man will be able to find the answers about things haunting him, right??
‘That was a sad story,’ twinkle said not knowing what to reply him but her words didn’t make him angry as he didn’t see concern in her voice but something else!!
‘So, you stay here?’ He asked brushing away his thoughts and staring at huge building.
‘Hmm…yeah and by the way thanks for everything today,’ she said with a heavy voice.
‘My pleasure and I too had a nice time with you today,’ He replied with same awkwardness he had when he started to travel with this stranger girl.
Were they still strangers??
Was that a adios??
Are they going to part away??

So how was it?
Don’t worry about my exam friends….I am kinda smart…. but after 14th my immediate paper is genetics on 16th….so i can meet u only aftr 16th.
