A girl is shown sleeping. She wakes up and looks around the room. Suddenly she starts panicking.
Girl- Where am I?
A guy walks in.
Guy- Good morning Twinkle. I’m Kunj, your husband.
Twinkle is both confused and scared.
Kunj- Now before u get scared look at our wedding pictures.
He hands Twinkle some pictures. It shows Kunj and Twinkle in wedding attire.
Kunj- Here’s our wedding.
Kunj turns on the tv and plays their wedding video.
A little girl runs into the room.
Prisha- Mamma!
She comes and hugs Twinkle. Twinkle looks at Kunj and Kunj nods. Twinkle hugs the little girl with tears in her eyes.
Prisha- Papa tell ur story now.
Kunj sits on the bed next to Twinkle.
Kunj- Twinkle, it’s been 5 years since our marriage and it still feels like I am newly meeting u everyday. Every morning I say the same story….our story.
FLASHBACK
Kunj walks into a library and looks for a book. Suddenly his eyes fall on a girl holding the book which Kunj was looking for. The girl’s face is covered by the book. Kunj goes over to the girl.
Kunj- Excuse me.
The girl looks up. Kunj is mesmerized in her beauty. The girl snaps her fingers in front of Kunj.
Kunj- Oh sorry. Actually I was wondering if u needed that book. I was looking for it but I couldn’t find another copy.
Girl- U like Shakespeare also?
Kunj- Yes actually Romeo and Juliet is my favorite play so I wanted that book but u have it. Btw I am Kunj Sarna. What is ur name? Must be Juliet right because u are that beautiful.
The girl laughs.
Girl- I have to go now bye.
She leaves.
Kunj- Are but ur name!
Everyone in the library- Shhhhh!
The next day Kunj comes to the library and sees the same girl.
Kunj- Hey u again. What’s up?
Girl- Sorry do I know u?
Kunj- Ummm we met yesterday.
Girl- Sorry I think u have mistaken me for someone else. Please don’t bother me.
Kunj walks away confused.
Librarian- Young man listen!
Kunj goes to the librarian.
Lib- U better not be disturbing that girl over there. I’m warning u now.
Kunj- No no u got it wrong. I talked to her yesterday but she doesn’t remember me today. I really like her can u please tell me what happened to her?
Lib- Listen u better not break her heart so leave from here and don’t come again.
Kunj leaves confused.
Kunj thinks- I will find out what the matter is.
The next day he comes back ad sees Twinkle reading the same book. Kunj goes to her.
Kunj- Shakespeare is amazing right?
The girl looks up.
Kunj- Hi I’m Kunj. I see ur reading Romeo and Juliet. That’s my favorite play also.
Girl- Really?
Kunj- Yeah I love all of Shakespeare’s works; Hamlet, Macbeth u name it.
Girl- Oh wow. Hi I’m Twinkle, Twinkle Taneja.
She forwards her hand and Kunj shakes it.
Kunj- A Beautiful name of a beautiful lady.
Twinkle laughs. Kunj is mesmerized in her. Her smile, her eyes, her dimple, all shot an arrow through his heart. They talk for a while.
Twinkle- Sorry I have to leave now bye.
Kunj- Wait can I see u tomorrow?
Twinkle pretends to thinks. Kunj pouts.
Twinkle- At the library at this time tomorrow.
She leaves and Kunj smiles. The next day Kunj comes and sees Twinkle there. He goes and sits next to her.
Kunj- Hey.
Twinkle- Excuse me do I know u?
Kunj is again confused and Twinkle leaves. Kunj is about to go and the librarian calls her.
Lib- I see u are a genuine guy. I have seen Twinkle laugh after so many months yesterday with u.
Kunj- Can u please tell me what happened to her?
Lib- She was in an accident two months ago. From that day she has suffered from anterograde amnesia. Every morning she wakes up thinking it is the same day which she got into an accident. She doesn’t remember anything after the accident so each day she forgets the day before. That’s y she comes here everyday because she doesn’t remember coming the day before. That’s y she doesn’t remember u.
Hearing this, Kunj gets teary eyed.
Kunj- But I have fallen in love with her and I will make her remember me. U watch.
Lib- But remember if u hurt her in any way I will not leave u. She is the sweetest and most innocent girl.
The next day Kunj goes to Twinkle again.
Kunj- Hi I’m Kunj. Is that Shakespeare? I love Shakespeare also.
Kunj and Twinkle becomes friends once again and have a great time at the library in each others company. Soon Twinkle leaves and Kunj gets sad knowing she won’t remember him tomorrow. But still Kunj shows up with the strength of his love. He approaches Twinkle once again the next day. This time Twinkle does something unexpected.
Twinkle- Hi Kunj.
Kunj is shocked.
Kunj- Wait u remember me?
Twinkle thinks for a minute then gets confused.
Twinkle- Sorry I don’t know why I said that name I don’t recall meeting u.
Kunj gets sad again but hold his tears in.
Kunj- Oh we met yesterday u probably don’t remember.
Twinkle- Wait I think I remember something about Shakespeare right?
Kunj gets teary eyed- She remembers me!
Twinkle- Kunj are u crying?
Kunj wipes away his tears.
Kunj- No something went in my eyes.
Twinkle- Let me see.
She blows in his eye. (Sajna Ve plays).
Twinkle thinks- Y do I feel a strange connection to him like we have met many times before?
Twinkle gets up to leave but Kunj stops her.
Kunj- Can we take a selfie? We are friends right?
Twinj take a selfie.
The next day Twinkle fails to recognize Kunj again. Kunj shows her the picture.
Kunj- Twinkle look we took this picture yesterday.
Twinkle- Kunj?
Kunj- Yes Twinkle try to remember please.
Twinkle- I can’t remember anything.
She runs out crying. Kunj follows her to her house. Twinkle runs in to her house. Leela stops Kunj at the door.
Kunj- Twinkle please listen!
Leela- Who are u please go from here.
Kunj- No no aunty please listen to me.
Kunj narrates the whole story to Leela. Leela lets Kunj go to Twinkle. Kunj goes to Twinkle’s room and sees her crying.
Kunj- Twinkle?
Twinkle- Kunj?
Kunj- See u can remember me Twinkle I know u can’t forget me.
Twinkle- Kunj what happened to me?
Kunj- Twinkle u have to face a big truth of ur life. U have to be strong. Two months ago u got into an accident……..
Kunj explains everything to Twinkle. Twinkle breaks down.
Kunj- Twinkle we had 50 first dates at the library and u don’t remember. But the truth is u never forgot me somewhere in ur heart.
Twinkle- Kunj y are u still here. U know I’m not normal then still y did u come back?
Kunj- Because I love you Twinkle (echoes). How can I leave you?
Twinkle hugs Kunj.
Twinkle (crying)- I’ll just forget u tomorrow Kunj. I don’t want to forget u.
Kunj- Don’t worry I won’t let u forget anything. I have an idea.
Leela walks in.
Kunj- Aunty, can u please record me?
Twinkle looks confused.
Kunj explains- I will take pictures of everything and they will serve as ur memories Twinkle, I won’t let u forget anything.
Leela starts recording. Kunj kneels down in front of Twinkle.
Kunj (like Romeo)- Oh Juliet…sorry…Oh Twinkle, I have no words that can define my eternal love for u. Will u accept ur Romeo…Ur Kunj?
Twinkle laughs and makes Kunj stand.
Twinkle- I accept u Romeo.
Twinj hug.
Leela- Thank u Kunj puttar for coming into my daughter’s life and making her laugh again.
She leaves from there. Kunj goes to leave but Twinkle holds his hand.
Twinkle- Please stay.
Kunj sits next to her on her bed. They talk the whole night. They don’t realize but end up laying on the bed. Twinkle rests her head on Kunj’s chest and Kunj wraps his arms around her. Their fingers entwine with each other.
Twinkle- Kunj
Kunj- Hmm…
Twinkle- When the sun rises it will be a new day and I will forget u again?
Kunj- U can never forget me. I won’t let u.
He kisses her forehead.
Twinkle- I love you Kunj.
Kunj- I love you too.
The Next Morning…..
Twinkle wakes up and finds herself in Kunj’s arms. She starts screaming Kunj wakes up.
Twinkle- Ma help bachao!!!!
Kunj- Twinkle listen Twinkle.
Twinkle picks up a broom and starts hitting Kunj.
Kunj- Ow Twinkle listen!
Leela comes into the room and sees Twinkle hitting Kunj with a broom.
Leela- Hai Rabba Twinkle stop!
Twinkle stops. Kunj and Leela show Twinkle the pictures.
Kunj- Ma take a picture of my wounds that Twinkle gave me. She should remember these na.
Twinkle- Kunj!
Leela laughs. Like this, Twinj make many memories and capture them for Twinkle.
A Month later….
Twinj get married. Twinkle waits for Kunj in their room on their wedding night. Kunj enters.
FLASHBACK ENDS
Kunj closes the photo album with all of Twinj’s memories.
Prisha- Then what happened Papa?
Kunj- Phir tum hua my little Princess.
Twinkle blushes.
Prisha- Papa u always end the story where mama is waiting for u. What happens next?
Kunj- Ur too little my princess u won’t understand. Let’s just say that a happy ending happened.
Twinkle- U love me this much Kunj?
Kunj- No.
Twinkle is confused.
Kunj- I love u more than u can see.
Twinkle smiles. Kunj points at his cheek to Prisha. Prisha kisses his cheek. Kunj then points to his other cheek to Twinkle. Twinkle blushes then kisses his cheek. Twinkle, Prisha, and Kunj share a group hug.
