Hello peeps… I know I am very late. But you know why. So, lets cut it all and come straight to the story. See you all at the end…
And yeah, I guess it would be better if I give the previous link– http://www.tellyupdates.com/twist-tale-part-10/
…………………………………..
“Hey guys” Abhi waved to the men standing a little away from him. Walking to them, he shook hands with everyone and hugged his closest ones. Purab and Nikhil, who appeared out of thin air, greeted him and took him to someone.
“This is Tanishk… Tara’s fiancé” Purab introduced and Abhi hugged him, pronouncing a wish.
He then looked around, one more time. It was a huge lawn with perfectly cut grass. Lights illuminated the whole place in a golden glow and tables were set offering a wide range of dishes. A little away, another big table lay, fully stacked with bottles ranging from size small to huge. But the chairs around were empty. Men lay scattered in groups of four or five. They looked like strangers trying to start a talk. And they did nothing else. Abhi did not feel like he was in a bachelor’s party. The place seemed weird for him. A little away, there was another indoor party hall. He wondered what it is and why is it so colourful and noisy. But then his thoughts shifted.
He searched one more time and puffed in disappointment. The very purpose of his visit was not going to be fulfilled by any means. He wanted desperately to kill Purab.
“I’m not going to be able to see her” Abhi shouted.
It was almost half an hour since Abhi reached there. He ran his fingers through his hairs. Frustrated, he looked around again. The place looked very strange to him. The very idea of girls attending a bachelor’s party never worked out to him—they would destroy all fun… he had thought. But then, if he was going to get a chance of seeing her, why say no! Only after he reached, did he know that it was going to be an utter waste. He couldn’t spot one girl in the vicinity. Every now and then the indoor hall near him would change colours and shriek with laughter… irritating him even more. Two minutes, just two minutes and Abhi could put up with it no more. He had gone straight to someone and grabbed them by arms. He enquired about the matter and was more than outraged. ‘Girls did not attend with them… they were inside the hall! Guys were not allowed in!’ Fine! Abhi snapped… But why not they celebrate? When he thought, he could at least enjoy a drink, he found that no one were there in the drinks section. What would he do without a company? Nothing made sense to him and he simply sat in the corner frustrated.
Now, after almost 30 min, he then spotted Purab peeking through a window, into the hall. “PURAB” he screamed.
Purab jerked a moment and looked around checking whether someone caught him. Learning that it was Abhi, he let out a sigh of relief. He ran back and inquired what the matter is.
“What are you doing?” Abhi crossed his arms.
“Nothing Abhi… was just looking around”
“Hey, aren’t you ashamed? Their hall is glowing and look, how noisy it is. See our men, fit for nothing. Aren’t we supposed to make more noise than that?” shouted Abhi, as he understood things. A strong sense of dominance reflected in his voice… they were guys— should be more grasping, more enjoying…
He gathered everyone and asked why they are not celebrating. Nobody had answered. ‘Who is joining me for a drink?’ he shouted then, this time little cheerfully. The answer seemed ridiculous. People miserably told him that they had promised their girls—if not their girls, their moms and sisters— that they wouldn’t drink. ‘Did they make you promise that you won’t drink in a bachelor party?’
It made no sense. Social drinking is allowed and is very common. ‘Not now. Before… it’s the very first promise I made her’ some of them told. Abhi couldn’t help but mentally slap himself for coming here. “It’s very selfish of them” Abhi murmured… “They took a better place and gave us empty lawns!” but Purab heard him.
“Oh hello, it is conducted by them and they decide on how it goes” Purab scorned.
“Purab…! Why do you goal for them? Stop supporting your girl friend for everything”.
Purab frowned hearing it.
“Guys, you understand? They have given us our privacy—even if it’s for their own advantage (‘I know they are enjoying very badly!’) Why don’t you use it?” Abhi snapped again but it was all in vain.
He couldn’t see how they were keeping on to their silly promises. And Nikhil, oh my! He had enacted the scene when he took the oath to not drink—in front of Sira. “You too Brute…?” Abhi muttered.
As Abhi looked at the hall, it changed colours from blue to green to shades of pink and violet. A loud cheer and laughter echoed. And loud music played again. Abhi’s thought of enjoying with the men vanished. He was again reminded of the purpose of his visit. ‘I have to see her’ he thought. He concentrated a little more into the hall. ‘Who will not be sad if they are not allowed in such a place’ Abhi somehow wanted to get in.
He went to the table where the bottles lay stacked. Taking a serving plate lying around, he placed two large bottles of whiskey. ‘Chi… How stupid of me’ he scolded himself and chose five smaller bottles of mead.
Calling Purab, he whispered something and Purab became doubtful.
“I don’t think…” Purab dragged.
Abhi ignored him. A grin playing in his lips masked all his other handsome features.
