Uddhav Thackeray’s message for TV and Film industry : Regular shooting will take time to resume; Work in limited hours

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray released a message for the TV and film industry where he said that the film and TV industry will have to shoot in the restricted timings as announced in the unlock plan. He also added that producers will have to wait before permissions are given to shoot in the usual timings.

General Secretary Ashok Dubey also said, ‘We have made a request that a producer requires at least 12 hours of shooting to complete one episode of a show and have asked for 7 am to 7 pm shift which is now pending with the chief minister.”
Thackeray has insisted that all media and entertainment industry members should get vaccinated before they go back on set. Dubey said, “President of the Producers Guild of India Siddharth Roy Kapur appraised the CM that they are working towards getting the entire industry vaccinated in the next two months.”

When asked if the production houses who are shooting outside of the state of Maharashtra can return anytime soon, Dubey said, “It is entirely up to them and their interest but those who have their set standing here may come back to Mumbai.”
