Part 10:
Rajesh’s house:
Afternoon:
Sanskar is in office and swara went out to bring the stuff to decorate the room.
Swara and Duffy went to market for shopping.
Then they came back and went to swara’s room.
Swara’s room:
Swaffy came inside and she kept the things on bed.
Swara:let’s decorate the room daffy.
Daffy jumped on bed. Swara started setting things and Daffy was helping her by giving her things.
After the hard work of two hours, finally the room is decorated beautifully.
Swara: daffy what do u think Sanskar will like it ?
Daffy nodded his head.
Later sanskar came home in the evening.Swara has locked her room and is waiting down in the hall.
Sanskar saw her as he enter inside.
Swara looked at him and smiles shyly thinking about her proposal.
Sanskar (thinks): why she is blushing??
Did daffy has done something(haww what I m writing)
Swara:good evening Sanskar.
Sanskar: hmm.
Sanskar went to his room.
After dinner, swasan went to their room.
Sanskar’s room:
Swara peep inside the room and saw Sanskar checking some papers.
Swara: sanskar may I come in.
Sanskar: hmm.
Swara went inside and stood near sanskar.
Swara: woo plzz will you come with me.
Sanskar: where??
Swara: to my room.
Sanskar: and why??
Swara: why are u asking so many questions come na.
Sanskar: okay fine I m coming.
Swara ran to her room before Sanskar come.
Swara’s room:
Swara is desperately waiting for sanskar and daffy is roaming in corridor. Sanskar entered inside the room and got astonished to see whole room beautifully decorated. In the center a big board was there on which it was written “I love you Sanskar”.
Everywhere there was balloons.
Swara: sanskar u liked it?
Sanskar came back to senses listening her. The thing he was scared of is really happening. He is not understanding whether he should be happy or sad.
Finally putting the mask of seriousness on his face he asked
Sanskar:What is all this swara?
Swara:I love you sanskar
She said looking down with pink cheeks.
Sanskar closed his eyes for a second then said
Sanskar: what rubbish swara?
Swara(look at him):its not any rubbish I really love you.
She held his hand but he jerked and said loudly
Sanskar: are u out of your mind swara. I m going to marry kavita.
Swara:I know Sanskar but u don’t love her bcoz u love me.
Sanskar:and who told u this? I don’t love you damm it.
Swara(panicked): no Sanskar u told me that night u love me now how can u say like this.
Sanskar:it’s not possible so don’t cook your own stories.
Swara(teary eyes); I m saying truth. U confessed sanskar after we came from club.
Sanskar:u were drunk at that time so u must have assumed.
Swara(shook her head): no no I remember it.
Sanskar(held her shoulder); okay if I would have said also then it was just a mistake so forget it.
Swara stumble back as the reality hit her in the worst way. To what extend she had thought of a relation which broke before starting only.
She can’t accept defeat so soon.
Not able to see her in such a devastated state sanskar turn his face.
Swara tightly back hugged him jerking him.
Swara(crying): plzzz don’t say like this. I love you so much. How will I live without you.
Sanskar closed his teary eyes. He never want to see swara in such condition and now it’s killing him as he himself is the reason of these precious tears. But no he can’t fall weak. If he will accept Swara then consequences will not be good.
Sanskar turn breaking hug and said
Sanskar (sternly): listen swara I m telling you last time I don’t love you. If u will believe it then it will be better for you.
Swara:pllzz san..
Sanskar(cut her): I didn’t completed. Leave this topic here only I don’t want that anyone should get to know about this stupidity especially baba and kavita. Don’t come between me and kavita,better concentrate on your life.
Swara is crying bitterly.
Swara:u r lying sanskar.
Sanskar(shouted): stop it swara otherwise I will have to think about our friendship also.
Saying this he left the room controlling his tears.
Someone is seeing all this standing at the door ofcouse he is Duffy. He is staring swara without blinking his eyes.
Swara slide beside bed as her knees are not supporting her to stand. She face palm her hands crying badly. She still don’t want to accept it.
Daffy came running and jump in her lap. Swara feeling his soft touch look at him.
Swara: see daffy he is lying to me. U know I never lie to u, you trust me na. He said he love me now how can he say it was a mistake.
She said as few fresh tears fall from her already tired eyes.
Daffy saw her tears and try to wipe them with his small leg. Swara hugged him tightly saying
Swara: I only love you daffy I also don’t want him if he can’t respect my love. We are enough for each other we don’t need outsiders.
Daffy nuzzles more in her embrace.
Tears also fell from daffy’s big button like eyes seeing his love’s condition.
Swara: daffy we will go back to Kolkata. We will not live here with bad people. U r best for me u never hurt me and I was thinking about sanskar leaving you. I m sorry I will not leave you ever.
She keep on talking with Daffy sharing her pain and telling how much hurt she is.
(According to one research, dogs understand humans emotions in best way)
Swara slept sitting there only with daffy in her lap. As she has no more tears to shed for someone who is least cared for them.
Sanskar’s room:
Sanskar is standing near window remembering all that happened few minutes before. Even tears didn’t left his eyes also. How much he pretend but no one can deny this that he love swara and he is also equally heart broken as swara.
Sanskar’s POV:
I m so so sorry swara but I m helpless. I know I had broken your heart beyond repair and its hurting me also. Yes u r right I love you. I tried a lot to control but these are uncontrollable feelings which are not in my hand. I know u r in pain now but this pain is better bcoz I ended everything before starting only otherwise if I would have given you hope then it will be more painful later.
Baba is everything for me bcoz of him only I m here today so I can never think of going against him and broke his trust.I m sorry I wish u will get somewhere better than me who really deserve you not like me who insults your love.
Sanskar’s pov ends.
Sanskar was about to sleep but he is feeling restless. Swara’s vulnerable state is coming in front of his eyes.
He thought to see her once that she is fine or not.
Sanskar went to swara’s room.
Swara’s room:
Sanskar saw that the door was open. He enter inside and look at swara who was lying on floor with the support of bed. Then only he saw daffy who was lying on her chest hugging her. Then he look how beautifully she has decorated the room only and only for him but he spoiled everything. He fighting with his tears said looking at daffy
Sanskar (chuckles): how can I forget she has her lover who will support her.
He went near her and took blanket from bed and cover both of them properly. She didn’t want to disturb them the way they are sleeping.
Sanskar kissed her forehead softly and caress her pale face.
Sanskar: I m sorry swara.
Then he was about to leave when he kissed daffy and whisper
Sanskar:take care of her. U deserve her more than me.
He smile with teary eyes and left after closing door.
