Chapter 2:
I sit here, alone, in my bedroom. I just came home from strolling around with Shivaay. He said he’ll be back after lunch to meet Gauri. Apparently, Gauri was fangirl-ing inside her room, rolling over, screaming, and doing crazy stuffs. And me? Feeling the exact opposite of what she feels right now. One week, my life will be a fairytale, but when he leaves, everything will be gone… again.
Should I tell him how I feel before he leaves? Should I risk our friendship for love? Shivaay isn’t the kind of person who will leave you after finding out that you’re in love with him, but I’m not afraid about him, I am the one unsure about myself. I don’t know what will happen to me, to my life, if I’ll be rejected.
“MY LIFE SUCKS!!!” I shouted in frustration.
After a few seconds, my sister blasted on my room.
“What the hell happened to you?!” she asked me.
“Shivaay is leaving next week,” I told her.
“Oh. At least I’ll get to see him, and you’ll get to spend a week with him, right? Better than nothing,” she said, trying to cheer me up.
“I know, I know. But, look, I am in love him. It’s hard for me to just be happy with him, then wave him goodbye a week later,” I explained.
“I almost forgot that you’re not just a fan. You’re his best friend who fell in love kinda secretly,” she teased me.
I rolled my eyes at her, “You’re not helping.”
She chuckled.
“You better tell him before he leaves. Who knows, maybe he likes you, too,” she said.
“You said it, MAYBE he likes me, too,” I replied, giving emphasis to the word ‘maybe.’
“But there’s a possibility. Right?” she said.
“I’m afraid,” I answered in a low tone, almost a whisper.
“Aren’t you also afraid that he’ll leave you again, waiting?” she replied.
Yeah, I’m too shy to let him know, and at the same time, too afraid to let him go. Why is it that my sister knows me too well. I nodded at her response.
“Go and tell him before he leaves, okay? And whatever happens, I’ll be here,” she said.
It’s funny how she acts more mature than me when it comes to these things, and I am two years older.
“I will.” I said.
She gave me a smile, and walked towards my door.
“I’m preparing lunch,” she told me before she left.

We were eating lunch when a knock was heard from the door.
“I’ll get it,” Gauri said, and stood up.
I heard her open the door. And a few seconds later, I heard a scream.
“OHMYGOSH! The Shivaay Singh Oberoi is in my house!!!!”
I laughed at her. I stood up and made my way to the door. I saw Gauri staring at Shivaay, he seems creped out.
“Gauri! You’re staring,” I told her.
“No, Annika I’m gazing,” she replied.
Shivaay and I burst into laughters.
“That’s a bit creepy,” Shivaay said.
“It’s romantic!” Gauri and I said in unison.
Shivaay chuckled.
“Girls, really…” he muttered.
“So, Shivaay? This is Gauri, my sister,” I said.
“Hello there, love,” Shivaay said which made Gauri blush.
“Uhm, hello!” she replied.
I made Shivaay sit while my sister gets her stuffs she wanted Shivaay to sign.
“Your sister’s really loud,” he said.
“She only gets that loud when she’s excited,” I replied.
“But she’s cute,” he answered.
I felt a bit jealous. Yeah, he has told me I am cute for a hundred times, but I can’t help it. Gauri’s pretty. Her hair falls perfectly on place. Her eyes were shaped like an almond. And I am rather plain.
“Can you sign all theseeee?” Gauri asked, walking towards us with her both hands full of posters, shirts, books, magazines and CDs.
“I will,” he replied.
“You told me you’ll come over after lunch. We’re still eating. Wanna join us?” I offered.
“Sure!”
After we have eaten, I volunteered to wash the dishes, so that they’ll have time to get to know each other. You can clearly see that they enjoy each other’s company. They share a lot of similarities. They seem to know each other for years already.
What if Gauri falls in love with Shivaay? I thought to myself. It isn’t impossible. They look good together, actually. But then, a worse question popped into my mind, what if Shivaay falls in love with Gauri?

You guys might be thinking that how I posted this earlier, well I wanna tell you guys that I won’t be able to post the next chapter sooner ‘cause I’ve my last practical on Sunday mornin’ then I’ll take off to Turkey right after that, but will try my best to update ya’all.
Finally my A-Levels is about to complete. Yaay!!
