Sanchi came back to work in SDCH……
Veer turned to see Kabir looking at him pointedly.
“Veer, how did the cabin next to mine got vacant? Last time I checked, it was Dr. Awasti’s cabin” he asked going closer to him.
Veer got more nervous. “Um um…… Dr. Awasti um…… asked for a different cabin. Yeah! Dr. Awasti asked for a different cabin, so dad decided to give this to Sanchi ???, my patients are waiting for me, Dr. Kabir! I’ll talk to you later” he disappeared before Kabir say anything more.
Kabir just shook his head and went to his cabin.
“Dekha tumne! She called him khadoos and he didn’t do anything about it!” – Disha
Maya frowned and went away.

Few days pass normally. Sanchi and Kabir both are handling the interns well. All liked Sanchi. Even though Maya didn’t like her, she too admitted that Sanchi is a very good and talented doctor.
……….class room……….
“You’ll have your exams next week. Be prepared for that. We’re appointing the the one who has the highest score, as the head intern ” announced Kabir.
Someone raised a hand.
“Yes Dr. Nakul?” Asked Sanchi.
“Dr. Sanchi, were you got the head intern position, when you were an intern?” – Nakul
“Yeah I was, once ???” Sanchi replied with a kind smile.
“Once? I thought you were the best intern here. But you became the head intern only once?” Came a taunting voice from the back.
All turned to see who it was. It was the none other than Dr. Maya Raichand. (Just added her a surname ???)
Kabir didn’t like the way she talked to Sanchi. “Dr. Maya-”
Sanchi stopped him by holding his arm.
Kabir turned his face to her but Sanchi was looking directly at Maya.
“Dr. Maya, you should be more respectful when you talk to your senior. I’ll let you pass, only for this once coz you didn’t know what you were talking about” Sanchi was talking to her in a sickly sweet voice with an equally sweet smile ???. The whole hospital knew, when Sanchi start to speak this sweet, it’s really dangerous.
“When I was an intern, I excelled our first exam and became the head intern ???. After that, there was a new rule saying that the student who score the highest marks will be Dr. Kabir’s assistant and the next highest score will be the head intern ???. (Still with the same voice.) From then, I got highest marks on every exam and got to be Dr. Kabir’s assistant, EACH. AND. EVERY. TIME. ???” She taunted her back, emphasizing the last words.
Maya was stunned ???. She didn’t had anything else to say. Then she noticed Sanchi still holding Kabir’s arm and him, looking at her in admiration.
“Any more questions?” ??? Sanchi.
“Yes, ma’am. Are you gonna select an assistant for Dr. Kabir from this exam?” – Nakul
“We were not informed to select assistants” ???Sanchi replied pleasantly.
“Aww…… that’s bad!!! I was hoping to be your assistant ???” Nakul said cutely.
Kabir glared ??? at him.
“Too bad indeed, Dr. Nakul ???. Let’s see what the higher ups decide ???” – Sanchi.
“If there aren’t any more questions, the class dismissed. Go back to your duties!!” Kabir said sternly.
Sanchi removed her hand from his arm and went out. But she had to come back to tack her phone which she left on the table.
She was about to leave but saw Maya glaring at her ???. She smiled at her and walked to the door but Maya blocked her.
“What do you think you’re doing, Dr. Maya?” Sanchi asked calmly.
“Blocking your way ???” Maya said rudely.
“Do I need to remind you again, how to talk to your senior?” – Sanchi
“Stay away from Dr. Kabir!” – Maya
“Excuse me?” Sanchi raised an eyebrow at her.
“You’re getting too close to him and I don’t like it. So stay away from him!” – Maya
“Why would I listen to you?” ???Sanchi.
“Dr. Sanchi, you don’t know who am I. My father can make you throw out of this hospital!!” – Maya
Sanchi started to laugh uncontrollably. “Ha ha ha ???. You’re threatening me?? Really?? ???. Daddy’s little girl!! You’re trying to threaten me, using your father. What can you do if it weren’t for your father? Hmm? Listen, Maya dear, you don’t know what Kabir and I have between us. You seem to have a crush on him-”
“I LOVE HIM!!” Maya exclaimed.
“Ok, let’s say you love him. So why don’t you prove your love? Why don’t you show me, that Kabir loves you too? If he loves you, then I’ll accept that. But if you fail to prove that……” Sanchi said calmly.
“I will!! I will prove you that he loves me too!! Yaad rakh na!! I will always stand between you and Dr. Kabir like an unbreakable wall!!” With that she went away.
Just as she went, our gang (Veer, isha, Pragya & Riya) came to Sanchi.
“Uss ladki ko itni himmat!! Agar tumhari jaga main hoti toh, usski muh thodungi ???…….. (How dare that girl!! If I was in your place, I would’ve break her face ???) …….. Pragya said angrily.
“Chill, guys!” Sanchi said calmly.
“What chill? She challenged you!! Now what will you do Sanchi?” Asked Isha.
Surprisingly she laughed. “??? She doesn’t know that if I can’t break the wall, I can blast it to remove it from my way ???”
“Yaar, she sound really scary ???” Riya whispered to Veer.
“Haa bahena…… Even I’m getting scared of her ???” Veer whispered back.
……….night time – SDCH……….
Kabir and Sanchi, both were working till late. (Separately)
Kabir came out and went to his car. Maya came to him.
“Dr. Kabir… can you drop me to the hostel? ??? Woh kya hai na, it’s too late and I’m scared to go alone… that’s why….” She said sweetly.
“Ok get in” he said simply, and got in. As he started the car a heavy rain started to pour.
He saw a figure, trying to get an auto, but no one was stopping. It was a girl. She was drenching because of the rain.
“Sanchi??”
Maya, who was happy coz her plan to go with Kabir worked, snapped her head hearing Sanchi’s name.
Kabir took an umbrella from the back of the car and quickly went out.
He ran to her and held the umbrella to her.
“What the hell are you doing? Why are you standing in the middle of the rain?” He yelled at her.
She got angry hearing this. “I’m doing an x-ray here!! Can’t you see I’m trying to catch an auto?” she said sarcastically.
“What happened to your car?” – Kabir
“Pragya took it” – Sanchi
“C’mon, I’ll drop you home” – Kabir
“Really? Thanks! But no thanks!! I’ll manage!!” Sanchi said stubbornly.
“Chord do tumhari zid, aur aao mere saath!!” Kabir insisted but she didn’t move an inch. So he grabbed her hand and started drag her to his car.
When they were walking back to the car, Kabir noticed she was shivering.
“Hold this!” He made her hold the umbrella.
He removed his coat and draped it on her shoulders. He was holding her shoulders in a side hugging way. She looked at him. They have cute eye lock.
Maya, who was watching them from the car was furious ???. She pressed her hand on the car horn and made them come to reality.
Kabir lead Sanchi to the car, with his arm was wrapped around her shoulders securely.
Maya was burning ??? seeing this.
Sanchi sat on the back seat and Kabir started to drive.
“So, did Dr. Maya had a late shift?” – Sanchi
“Hmm it’s late night. She can’t go to hostel alone. That’s why I’m dropping her” Kabir replied while driving.
Sanchi saw Maya glaring at her through the rear view mirror.
“That’s so kind of you Dr. Kabir ???” she smiled through the mirror. Seeing Kabir too smile back, made Maya glare even more.
Then they fall in to silence. Sanchi was watching rain through her window. Kabir was stealing glances at her. Maya noticed this. She tried to get him to talk to her but that effort went in vain.
They reached the hostel. Rain has slowed down.
“Sanchi, come and sit in the front” – Kabir
“No! I’ll stay here ???” – Sanchi
“Oh hello, I’m not gonna be your driver!! Get in here!” He ordered her.
Maya was struggling with the seatbelt pretending it’s stuck.
“Seems like it’s stuck na?” Saying, Sanchi leaned front from back and removed the seatbelt easily and smiled at her sweetly ???.
“Thank you so much sir!! If you weren’t there, don’t know how I’ll manage in this rain.” Maya said as sweetly as possible but Kabir only nodded at her.
“Good night Maya!” Sanchi said cheerfully.
“Good night….” She said but Kabir didn’t say anything.
Just as she got down, Sanchi sat on her seat saying, “bye Maya, see you later!” ???.
Maya frowned ??? and turned to go.
Then Sanchi started to struggle with the seatbelt. ???
“Kya hua?” – Kabir
“Don’t know, this seems to be stuck!” Sanchi said pulling the seatbelt.
“Here, let me…” He leaned to her to help, but after he adjust the belt, he got lost in her eyes. There faces were centimetres apart. If one of them move, ??? you know na what’ll happen ???.
Kabir was unconsciously, getting more closer, but before something happen, Sanchi’s phone made a sound alerting a message. Kabir quickly moved back to his seat.
Sanchi checked her phone saw a message from Maya. She opened it curiously with a frown.
“I won’t let you win!!” It said.
Why did she sent a message like that? Well here’s what happened. ??? Our Maya had turned back to see Kabir for one last time tonight, but what she saw was…… ??? you know what she saw ??? yep you guessed it right!!! She saw Kabir and Sanchi so close and Kabir was about to kiss her!!! (seriously, I’m blushing ???)
Sanchi typed a reply. “Too bad sweetie, I already won ?” pressing the send button, she looked out of the window and smirked ???.
Maya didnt understand what her reply meant. **I just stopped him from getting close to her, so how did she won?** then it hit her. “She used the same seatbelt trick to get his attention!! That’s how she won!! No Sanchi Mishra, no! I won’t let you win!!” She stomped on her foot angrily ???.

This Maya girl is really annoying, isn’t she? She challenged our Sanchi!! She says she loves Kabir. Will her love become a hurdle in Kabir and Sanchi’s love story or will their love be too strong that no one can come between them again?
