Chapter 19

Hi ???. Here I am with the 19th chappie . For the last chapter on Christmas, the most awaited confession, I know it wasn’t much but I’m so happy to see you guys liked it . Along with many lovely comments, Priyu and Dhruti gave me Ramayan & Mahabharat  Riya… you too dear. Thanks guys for those looooong comments . And others who commented and liked as well. I got 4 dislikes. I’ve stopped being sad with dislikes now coz no matter what I write I get 3-4 dislikes and none of them ever try to say why they dislike it!!

I have to tell something about this little girl, KairaRUFan. She’s in 10th grade and so busy with studies to comment on our posts always. I’m so lucky she decided to comment on mine . Chapter 18

New Years with New Beginnings!! (OS)

So let’s start today’s part .

Previously on “Unwritten Love Of Destiny”,

Both looked at each other with uncontrollable love and leaned closer. Their eyes closed as their lips met. Through those closed eyelids of theirs, escaped the unshed tears, that they were holding for so long.

The love they tried to hide, let go and forget for 10 long years finally started to pore out. Kabir’s arms wrapped around Sanchi’s waist, pulling her closer, like he’d never let her go, even for a second. Sanchi didn’t have a problem with that. She too wrapped her arms around his neck possessively.

Both have lost in each other’s embrace. A loud sound of fireworks made them break their kiss.

The two laughed .

“It’s Christmas!! Kabir…. you confessed on Christmas!! ” she said laughing.

“Yaar!! Never thought I’d be so cheesy!! And can you believe it? We’re stuck in an elevator on 12.00 a.m on Christmas!!” He too said laughing.

“I bought you a gift but you have to wait till we get out of here” – Sanchi

“Hmmmm…. well.. I got you one too but I’ll give it to you later. For now… you have something you could give me as a gift ” he smirked.

Sanchi was puzzled. “Now? What’s that?”

“This.” He leaned and captured her lips with his again aaaand got lost in each other again.

……….outside……….

Maya was sitting on a chair near the elevator. Her friend Disha came to her.

“Maya, you changed your shift and stayed the night. But what’s the point? The lift is still stuck” – Disha

“I know but Kabir sir is there with that chudail!! That’s why I’m staying” – Maya

“But they’re inside, you’re outside. How would you know what’s happening?” – Disha

Maya angrily looked at her.

……….inside the elevator……….

Kabir sat on the floor and made Sanchi sit on his lap.

“Kabiiir! I must be heavy na! I’ll just sit on the floor!” Sanchi protested.

“No, you’re not heavy and I’m not letting you stay away from me. So no arguments!!” He made her ranting stop by pulling her closer and stared at her.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” She asked feeling shy under his intense gaze.

“I just can’t figure if this is a dream or reality” – Kabir

“Why? Did you dreamt me always?” She teased him but he replied honestly.

“Everyday. I dreamt you every night. Each time you were leaving me. I was left alone. Sometimes I don’t sleep and make myself busy with work coz I’m afraid to see you leaving me again and again and again. If maa was here, it would’ve been better but she left me too. Both women I loved in my life, left me. I was all alone in this world” he leant his head back to the wall.

She could feel the pain in his heart. She didn’t knew what to so to ease his pain. She just hugged him tight.

“I’m sorry Kabir. I should’ve come earlier. I didn’t know anything about aunty. I’m so sorry I left you alone to bear all this” she mumbled to his chest.

He looked down and caressed her cheek. “Why are you saying sorry? It’s not your fault. I made you go away from me. I was-“

“Sshhhh that’s enough. Don’t go to that past again. Think about the future. See…. Now I’m here…. with you!! No more bad dreams. Only happy dreams . Ok? Now there’s no place for sadness. Only happiness!! Now smile….” – Sanchi

He gave her a light smile. She wasn’t satisfied with that. So she thought something. **Idea!! **

“Kabir…. what’s the time now?” – Sanchi

“12.45 a.m. why?” – Kabir

“Oh shit!! I totally forgot to tell Karan about the dinner” she said dramatically.

He gave her a disbelieving look. “Seriously? Tum phir se uss goat ke bare mein soch raha hai?…… (you’re still thinking about that goat?)……

She suppressed her laughter. “Goat???”

He started to say many names. “Yes!! Goat, fox, leach, worm-“

Now she couldn’t stop laughing. “Really, Kabir? I don’t think he looks like any of those creatures. He’s handsome and-“

She stopped her words abruptly when he got so close, their noses touching. “If you’re trying to make me jealous, then it’s working more than necessary. So if I were you, I’d stop talking about him right now” he said a bit scarily.

She knew she should stop it by his tone, but at the same time she wanted to provoke him more. So she decided to do the latter. “Of course you’d be jealous!! After all, he does like me. So you’d have a tough competition. Besides, how can you tell me to stop talking about him? You’re not my husband!! I’ll talk about anyone I want!!” She huffed in fake annoyance enjoying his expressions.

Out of the blue he kissed her. He kissed her so hard and passionate that made her forget everything she was saying. After awhile, he broke the kiss for air leaving both of them breathless. She placed her head on his shoulder catching her breath.

“For now, I’m your boyfriend. But soon I’ll make you mine so you won’t even think about another man. What a nice way to tell me that you want me to propose you!! Don’t worry, baby. I won’t keep you wait for so long.” He whispered breathlessly in her ears, making her heart race more. She hid her face in his neck without a word more.

He laughed lightly forgetting all his troubles he had earlier and both fell asleep in each other’s arms.

……….in the morning……….

Our two love birds were still sleeping peacefully. But that peace didn’t last long. The elevator jolted and made them awake. Sanchi looked around sleepily and remembered where they are. She looked up to catch her lovers lovely gaze. While they were lost in each other, the elevator jolted again and started to move getting them to their senses. Both stood quickly. Sanchi tried to tame her hair and saw Kabir’s hair like a birds nest. She remembered all that happened last night. Their confessions, kisses…. She blushed thinking all of that. He stepped closer to her and made her eyes meet his, holding her chin.

“You look so cute when you blush!” He quickly pecked her on the lips and said, “good morning, sweetheart!” making her smile. But just then the elevator ‘dinged’ and they stepped away from each other unwillingly.

Outside, everyone was waiting for the elevator to open. Some are curious to know how their favourite couple is (the gang ) while some are agitated to see their favourite PERSON come out (ahem ahem…. Maya…. ahem.. ).

Finally the door opened and everyone saw Sanchi and Kabir standing with a little distance. Maya sighed in relief. They came out.

“Hey guys, Merry Christmas!” Kabir wished. Everyone within the hearing distance, gapped at him. “Why are you looking at me like that?” He questioned.

“Kabir, mere bhai! Are you alright?” Veer asked the question everyone wanted to ask.

“Yes Veer. I’m alright! Why are you behaving like I’m an alien?” – Kabir

Veer mumbled to himself, “seems like the plan worked!” Then he turned to Sanchi who was silent. “Hey miss golgappa!! Merry Christmas!!”

“Yeah, Merry Christmas! Listen I gotta go home. Maa must be worried. ” – Sanchi

“Don’t worry Sanchi. We told aunty that you got stuck in the lift” – Isha

“Yeah yaar. You were there the whole night. Now you must be hungry na? Lest go and eat something ” – Pragya

“No. I’m going home. See you later!” She quickly bid them goodbye and practically ran out of the hospital. Kabir laughed seeing this. Everyone again gapped seeing him laugh. He quickly composed himself and cleared his throat.

“Why did she behave so strangely?” – Riya

“Because she IS strange?” – Kabir

“Good point! She is strange. (Veer placed an arm around Kabir’s shoulder) So bhai…. what happened in the elevator?”

“Nothing special! She started to annoy me. I scolded her. That’s all” Kabir replied blankly.

Veer dropped his arm in shock. “ so the plan didn’t work?” He said horrified.

“Plan? What plan?” – Kabir

“Nothing Dr. Kabir. I think you should go home and get freshend too” Isha tried to cover for Veer.

“Yeah Isha you’re right. I’ll see you guys later” he too went away.

“Guys! I don’t think our plan failed!! They’re hiding something!!” Riya said as soon as Kabir went.

“Abae yaar!!! Kasam se!! Even I felt like that!!” Pragya too agreed.

Just then, they heard someone clapping behind them. “Wah doctors, wah!! Aap log kamaal hai!!” It was Maya who came there clapping.

Gang faced her. “Why don’t we go to my cabin?” Riya suggested.

“You made the elevator get stuck for hours. Didn’t you think how inconvenient it would be for the patients? What would Dr. Malhotra do when he got to know this?” Maya started the instant they got in.

Veer, Isha, Riya and Pragya looked at each other and then turned to Maya with a smirk.

“Maya darling!!! How could you be so stupid??? We have another elevator here and no one faced any inconvenience yesterday” – Isha

“But if he got to know that you, Dr. Maya, threatened someone to get the elevator stuck for her own personal reasons, what would he do???” Veer

“And did you forgot Veer and Riya are Dr. Malhotra’s children? He won’t scold us that much” Pragya added thoughtfully .

Maya was looking like shed explode in any minute. “You shouldn’t have played matchmaker with Dr. Kabir!! Why can’t you just live your own lives?”

“Because we know they love each other” veer said seriously.

“No! That’s not true!!” Maya exclaimed.

Riya looked at her with pity. “But it is true Maya. Kabir only belongs to Sanchi. That was how it was in the past, present and the future. I can understand your situation well. There was a time that I was in your place too. I did everything I could do to separate them. I even married him. But still nothing could change his love for her. They are made for each other. No one can come between them!!”

The gang told Maya the whole story. How Veer and Sanchi loved each other, how she lost her memory, how she fell in love again, how he rejected her love, how they lived past 10 years without each other…… everything. Maya ran out crying at the end of the story.

“I really feel bad for her!! Bechari Maya, she really thought it was easy to take Sanchi’s place in Kabir’s heart” – Pragya

“Yeah. Now she know the whole story. Hope she’ll understand now, what she was doing was hopeless” – Riya
