Urfi Javed banned from traveling to UAE?
Urfi Javed feels that she going to face some turbulence, not because of her taste in fashion but because of the changes in the Dubai visa rules. Uorfi fears being banned from traveling to UAE after its recent entry rule change wherein single-name people will be deemed inadmissible.
Urfi shared a news report on her Instagram story and revealed that she also has a single name on her passport that is, Uorfi. She wrote, “So my official name is only Uorfi, no surname and now I’m ******.”
On November 21, Air India and AI Express, in a joint circular, notified that any passport holder with a single name will not be accepted by UAE immigration. The statement read, “Any passport holder with a single name (word) either in surname or given name will not be accepted by UAE immigration and the passenger will be considered as INAD. Then such a passenger will not be issued a visa and in case the visa was issued previously then he will be INAD by immigration.”
For the unversed, the rules only apply to people holding visiting visas, visas on arrival, and temporary visas.
