Urfi Javed condemns Sajid Khan’s participation in Bigg Boss 16
After singer Sona Mohapatra, Urfi Javed, who was also a contestant in Bigg Boss OTT, has reacted to #MeToo accused Sajid Khan’s participation in Bigg Boss 16. Urfi condemned the makers of the show and channel for Sajid by taking such men on the show.
Urfi wrote, “Bigg Boss, why would you do that? When you support s*xual predators, you’re actually telling them that it’s okay what they have done. These men need to know this behaviour is not okay and they cannot get away with it. Stop working with s*xual predators! It’s not controversial, it’s just disgraceful! Sajid Khan never apologised for what he did! Imagine what the girls he harassed must be feeling? So you don’t really have to worry because even if you harass multiple women you will still get to be on the biggest show in India!! Controversy ke liye aap har cheez thode support karenge! #Colors stop supporting s*xual predators!!! #biggboss #colors #disgraceful.”
She added, “Not that I got an offer from Bigg Boss this year but even if I got it, I wouldn’t!! Can we all please stop supporting s*xual predators. I can’t even believe what the girls he harassed must be going through seeing him everyday on television.”
Earlier singer Sona Mohapatra raised her voice against Sajid Khan’s participation in Bigg Boss 16. In her recent Instagram post, she wrote, “India is celebrating #Navratri, #Durga Puja and #Womanhood. While also watching the complete disregard for women’s voices in the #MeTo movement by the Indian TV channels platforming serial s*x offenders; Sajid Khan, Anu Malik, Vikas Behl, Suhel Seth, Kailash Kher.”
Along with Urfi and Sona, many netizens have also slammed Bigg Boss 16 for Sajid Khan’s participation in the show.
