Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s fiance Jay Gandhi pours out his heart in a social media post

It was truly disheartening to hear the sad news of the demise of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya. She passed away on May 23 in a tragic road accident in Himachal Pradesh. Her untimely demise has shocked the entire TV fraternity. As known to all, the actress was engaged to Jay Gandhi and the two love birds were all set to get hitched in December this year.

Her fiance Jay Gandhi is shattered to pieces and is not able to accept the fact that in his life henceforth, Vaibhavi won’t be there. Taking to his Instagram account, Jay penned an emotional note for Vaibhavi and stated how he misses her every minute of every day.

Sharing a beautiful picture from their Roka ceremony, where he can be seen hugging Vaibhavi, Jay wrote, Jay wrote, “I only miss you every minute of everyday. You will never truly be gone, I will hold you safe in my heart forever. Gone too soon RIP my Gundi, I love you.”

Earlier when Jay was interacting with Bombay Times, he cleared the air about Vaibhavi not wearing a seat belt. He said, “There is a notion that you speed on road trips, but that was not the case. Our car was standing still and waiting for the truck to pass. I am not in a state to talk much, but I wanted to ensure that people don’t assume that we were not wearing seat belts or were speeding.”

Vaibhavi’s prayer meet has been scheduled for today and one of her close friend’s Akangsha Rawat told Bombay Times that her family will soon travel to Gujarat to submerge her ashes.

She shared, “There is a prayer meeting today and soon her family will leave for Gujarat to submerge her ashes in the Narmada river.
