Vaishali Takkar’s friend Vikas Sethi opens up on his last conversation with the late actress; says she was all set to get married in December
Television actress Vaishali Takkar allegedly killed herself at the age of 30 by hanging at her home in Tejaji Nagar of Indore on Sunday morning. Tejaji Nagar police station in-charge RD Kanwa during an interaction with the media said, “We have recovered a note from her possession. We are verifying its content. It is too early to say anything about the reason behind the extreme step.”
Now according to the reports, the recovered suicide note suggests that Vaishali was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend.
During an interview with BT, Vaishali’s friends’ actor Vikas Sethi and his wife Jhanvi Rana opened up on their last conversation with the actress and shared that Vaishali was all set to get married by December to a software engineer based in California in December.
Vikas said, “She was set to get married in December. The two families were looking forward to finalizing the date soon. When I spoke with her on Friday, she said, ‘ Sab mast chal raha hai.’ She told me that she would do the shopping with us and host a party. She has made elaborate plans for her trip to Mumbai before the wedding. So, the news of her death shocked me to the core. At first, I dismissed it as fake. I asked Jhanvi to call up Vaishali but her calls went unanswered. We called her father, who told us that he was in the crematorium. We froze and broke down eventually. Jhanvi was inconsolable.”
