Television actress Vaishnavi Macdonald is a popular face and needs no introduction too. She was last seen in the show Aye Mere Humsafar and she is the one who has always gathered praises for her roles. Now she will be seen in the show Tera Yaar Hoon Main as the prospective mother-in-law of actress Neeharika Roy, who portrays the role of Trishala Bansal in the show.
Vaishnav’s character is inspired by an outspoken writer-novelist in the show, and is excited to play a character different from what she has portrayed so far.
In an interview with ETimes, she got candid nd shared details about her role in the show.
“There are very few shows that I watch. I have been following Tera Yaar Hoon Main when it was launched, I saw that actors of my age were given such important roles in this show, I felt really nice about it. Additionally, this was a show which was showing a very different story. It was not a typical show where a young boy falls in a love with a young girl and that is how the story proceeds. Shows like Anupamaa are doing so well because people like the change and that is what we need. So I am happy to be a part of something like this,” she shares.
Vaishnavi wasn’t shooting much during the second pandemic wave but now that she has got herself vaccinated and the cases have come down she feels safe to shoot.
“I shot extensively during the first wave of COVID, but during the second wave I tried to step out less. But the production house with which I am doing Tera Yaar Hoon Main has been known for its work. Even during the COVID time they have been taking good care of their staff members and have been following the protocols. Also, since I will be getting my second dose of vaccination by the end of this month, I will feel more secure to shoot,” she signs off.
