Vasudha and Raghu hide when they see Devansh approaching. Devansh asks Savitri for a taste of the food because he has to leave for a meeting. Savitri serves him the food, which Vasudha prepared. After tasting it, Devansh praises the flavor and requests that the same food be served for dinner. Sarika enters and tells Devansh not to praise the servants, as they are just servants. Devansh asks her not to speak that way about them. He kisses Savitri’s hand in appreciation and leaves.
Sarika notices the delicious smell of the food and tells Savitri to make some khichdi for her. After sending the servants away, Sarika secretly tastes the food and thinks to herself that Karishma will love it. Then she adds extra salt to all the dishes and leaves. Vasudha and Raghu witness her doing this.
Later,
Karishma takes a bite and exclaims that the food is too salty. Kavita complains that no one eats food like this. Chandrika tells Kavita to leave with Karishma. But then, it’s revealed that this was just Sarika’s dream. In reality, Karishma says the food is delicious, shocking Sarika. Earlier, Vasudha had warned Savitri about Sarika adding salt to the food, so they recooked everything.
Back in the present, Chandrika tells Karishma that guests are like gods and should be treated well. She praises the food and asks Sarika to eat the khichdi. When Sarika eats it, she starts coughing. Vasudha remembers how Raghu had added extra salt to Sarika’s khichdi. Sarika tries to leave, but Chandrika scolds her and tells her to finish eating. Sarika reluctantly complies, while Savitri compliments Vasudha, saying she has magic in her hands when it comes to cooking.
Chandrika then takes Karishma to the kitchen. Savitri, seeing them, tells Vasudha to hide, so she and Raghu do so. Chandrika tells Karishma that she will need to manage the kitchen in the future, though Karishma thinks to herself that she will only give orders. Chandrika introduces Savitri to Karishma, and Karishma, impressed by the food, asks Savitri to cook for her wedding. She gives Savitri a bracelet as a gift. Afterward, Karishma and her parents leave after taking the elders’ blessings.
Vasudha, back at the outhouse, tells Raghu that Hanumant will be upset if he finds out she entered the mansion. Savitri arrives, and Vasudha anxiously asks if anything went wrong. Savitri reassures her that everything is fine and mentions that Karishma gave her a gift, which Vasudha rightfully deserves. Vasudha refuses the gift, saying it’s too expensive and will draw attention if anyone sees it. Savitri insists that the bracelet is a blessing from Vasudha’s mother.
Meanwhile, Kavita scolds Karishma for giving such an expensive bracelet to Savitri. Karishma brushes it off, saying it was an investment to become the lady of the Chauhan house. They both laugh.
Vasudha places the bracelet in front of her mother’s photo. Hanumant arrives, and Vasudha, in her nervousness, accidentally admits that she entered the mansion to get some turmeric for Raghu. Furious, Hanumant slaps her.
Precap: Chandrika asks Hanumant to call his daughter as she needs to be punished for her mistake. Hanumant says she has punished herself by leaving the city. Vasudha gets kidnapped by human trafficker when she is on the street.
