Ratan hears a baby crying and tries to locate the voice, but Ranvi sits low in the car and feeds the baby, hece Ratan cant see him…she shouts Ranvi’s name but he isnt able to hear her as the windows are up…
Veera looks for Ranvi and rest her hand on the car that Ranvi is in, while Ranvi leans with his had on the window as well making their hands meet on the window…Veera then spots Ranvi’s pic on the floor and goes to pick it uo when the car drives off…Veera is sad tht her veerji is still missing…Ratan stands by the roadside with Ranvi’s pic and Nihal comes to see her sad and thinks to imself that he is in a way responsible for Ranvi missing…Veera joins the and tells Ratan tht they couldnt find veerji and now she’s hungry…Ratan tells her to wait a little while more…Nihal says
The NRI couple check into a hotel and Ranvi say its a nice room and asks what he can call the two of them…A bell boy hears him and the lady gets worriedand they send off the bell boy…She then tells Ranvi to call them chachaji and chachiji or else peaople will suspect them and send him back to the pind..Ranvi asks if he could speak to his papaji and the lady promises she will make him talk once se changes the baby’s clothes…the man is uncomfotable and calls the lady out to speak…he tells her that taking Ranvi along will be risky but the lady is adamant to take Ranvi to Delhi and get his passport made…Ranvi comes with the baby and says he’s changed her clothes and put her to sleep…He asks if he can now speak to his papaji…The lady says its night over there and his papaji must be sleeping…the lady asks why he’s put a black dot on the baby and Ranvi says its to protect her from nazar and that he did the same to his little sister Veera…the lady is happy to have found Ranvi…
At the dhaba Veera gets some blak color from the pot and puts it on herself thinking of Ranvi…She then asks for the dhaba guy for some water and starts pressing her tired feet…Nihal asks Ratan to eat something for Ranvi’s sake and Ratan agrees…Nihal spots Veera holding her legs ad tells Ratan that he’ll get a room at the dharamshala so her and Veera can rest…Ratan tells him off for even thinking that she can rest while her son is missing..She tells Nihal that she will only rest when they find Ranvi…Veer listens to Ratan and pretends she isnt tired and runs around to prove it…The dhaba guy comes with hot water and asks Veera to soak her feet in it…Veera yells at him for thinking she’s tired and says he must have istaken her for some other girl…Ratan undertands what Veera is trying to do and Nihal says that Veera is very brave and strong but his shoulders are hurting and he’d like it if she sat on them when they go looking for Ranvi…Veera smiles and agrees…Ranvi talks to the baby about his papaji …Chaiji with Ranvi’s friends prays at the gurudwara for Ranvi’s return…
