Chaiji cries for Sampooran and misses him…she recollects how young sampooran was when she looked after him and how he used to run away but this time he has taken too long to return…she thinks of how bravely Ratan has lived without Sampooran but now its getting too much…
Next morning chaiji calls Ratan down and wonders why she’s so late for work…Ratan is embarrassed and gulty after her nihal dream and on the pretext of going through account books she says she wont be going to the fields today…chaiji is happy and says its good to get some rest…Chaiji says that Nihal has brought a good change in their lives which makes Ratan more guilty…
The kids come down and ask Ratan if she isnt going to the fields when Ratan says she’ll be doing the books today…Ranvi says he’s good with
Ranvi helps Ratan with the books and corrects one of Ratan’s mistake…Ratan is proud of Ranvi and says Sampooran wil be the same…Ranvi goes to look fr Veera but can’t find her and asks chaiji and he calls Veera’s name…she replies from teh kitchen and when chaiji and gang go to rescue her, they find her covered in flour looking like a ghost…they start laughing and Veera cries saying she tried to help Ratan by making parathas and the flour tin fell on her…Veera asks how she looks and ranvi says she looks really soni…chaiji makes fun of her and Ratan send Ranvi and chaiji away saying she will clean Veera…Veera asks Ratan if she looks fairer than her and Ratan replies yes…Veera quickly asks her to clean her up so she can look just like her beeji…Ratan is speechless at Veer’as innocence…
Chaiji and Ranvi are talking about Veera when she comes and chaiji says she shouldnt try any stunts until she has grown up…She says she can do all the work when she gets married…Veera asks moti chaaaiji what shadi is and chaiji says its something that happens do logo ke beech when Veera goes why beech , why not aaju baaju …chaji asks ranvi to help answer Veer’as questions but Ranvi says he cant coz he isnt married…veera then asks Ratan and she explains that shadi happens between two people, one girl and one boy and a rishta is made with it…Veera smiles knowing the meaning…Chaiji says she has to go to mandir to complete her mannat and the kids start to get ready for school when some uy comes to tell Ratan that her and Nihal have been summoned at the panchayat and when ratan asks why he says he doesnt know and leaves…Ratan wonders how to tell Nihal about it since chaiji isnt at home…
Nihal worries about Ratan not coming to the fileds and wonders if she is unwell…He is in a dilemma about going to cheack on Ratan when Ranvi calls and he worriedly asks if Ratan is well…Ranvi tells Nihal that Ratan stayed home to finish the accounts and asks why he sounds worried… Ratan hears Ranvi and then ranvi tells Nihal that he has been called to the panchayat and asks him to get there…
