Veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty was recently rushed to a Bengaluru hospital following complaints of severe stomach ache and fever.
According to the latest reports, the actor had kidney stones. His son Mahaakshay Chakraborty, aka Mimoh Chakraborty, confirmed the news and shared that now he has been discharged from the hospital after he made a full recovery.
Recently a photo of him surfaced on the internet where he can be seen resting on a hospital bed. The picture was shared by Anupam Hazra, National Secretary of BJP. Along with the picture, he wrote, “Get well soon Mithun Da (I wish you a speedy recovery Mithun Da).”
Mithun was recently seen in the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’. He became a household name with his role as Jimmy in the 1982 film ‘Disco Dancer’, which turned out to be a blockbuster.
Over the past few years, the actor has shifted his focus to the small screen where he is often seen as the judge on dance reality shows.
