Vibhav Roy Takes the Lead in Nikhil Sinha’s Fantasy Thriller Show titled ‘Shaitani Rasme’
In a recent update, it was initially reported that Abhishek Bajaj would be playing the male lead in Nikhil Sinha’s upcoming fantasy thriller show. However, the latest information reveals that Vibhav Roy has been chosen to step into the hero’s role, bringing his talent to the forefront. Naqiyah Haji, a fresh face in the industry, has been finalized to play the female protagonist.
According to a source closely associated with the show, titled “Shaitani Rasme,” it is an official adaptation of a popular audiobook. The storyline promises a captivating blend of romance, thriller elements, and the mystique of fantasy and black magic. With the production already underway, the show is expected to grace television screens after the World Cup.
Vibhav Roy, known for his roles in shows like “Gustakh Dil,” “Doli Armaanon Ki,” and “Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan,” along with his appearance in the film “Padmaavat,” marks his return to the small screen after a six-year hiatus. His most recent stint, “Meri Saas Bhoot Hai,” a family drama that premiered in January 2023, concluded in July this year. Despite a brief venture into films and the OTT space, Vibhav’s swift return to television underscores the industry’s warm reception.
On the personal front, Vibhav Roy has been in a relationship with actress Shubha Rajput, known for her role in “Ishqbaaaz.” The couple, who met during the shoot of the web series “Pyar Ishq Rent” in 2019, started dating a year later and got engaged on December 25 in Delhi.
