Scene – 3 {Late night….@ Dhaani’s House}
Dhulari : Buchiya…..where were u?
Dhaani : Maa….i was @ the temple……only……
Dhulari : Beta…..what happened 2 u……..ur eyes are……
Dhaani : {interrupts} Nothing……maa…….Something trapped in my eyes…..I will clear it……
{Dhaani goes inside……}
Dhulari : I know….buchiya……u are not happy with this marriage……But am helpless…… Else u will have to spend the whole life like a bird who is trapped in cage….only……{she stares dhani with wet eyes}
{Meanwhile viplav arrives there and knocks the door of the house…..dhaani feels confused…..dhulari opens the door and stares viplav…….}
Viplav : Namaste….maaji……am viplav…….may I….
Dhulari : Haa…..come inside…..
{Before she could tell some thing viplav enters the house with a sweet smile…..}
Viplav : Where is dhaani ……
Dhulari : Dhaani!!!! U know buchiya…….
Viplav : Buchiya…..that’s really nice…..so u calls her buchiya….right?? {viplav shouts} dhaani…..dhaani…..dhaani….
{Dhaani comes infront of them…..}
Dhaani : Viplav……..
Viplav : Am here to solve ur prblm…….
Dhulari : Prblm…..what happened beta……
Viplav : {holding dhaani’s hand} see…..maaji…..this ring is the prblm……I think she should remove it……won’t u …..
{Dhaani and dhulari stare each other’s eyes…..}
Dhaani : Maa……I……{gets tensed}
Dhulari : Enough…..dhaani…….no need to say anything….Viplav beta……..she is a girl…… only…….She didn’t know what is right and what is wrong……..Her engagement is over and tmrw is her wedding……Its better u should not come here again……
Viplav : Maaji…… I think this is not the right time 4 her marriage…….She is a good singer……And I think she should make this talent as her profession…….
Dhulari : Viplav……tmrw is dhaani’s wedding…….do u get that ?
Viplav : Maaji…….pls……she is not happy with this marriage……..
Dhulari : I know it…..but its fate……we can’t do anything before fate……
Viplav : Then I vow that I will change this fate if not then I will not remain as viplav tripathi…..
Dhulari : {shocked] Beta…u …..are the grand son of maha panditji ???
Viplav : Yes…..and in the name of my dadaji dashrath tripathi……I assure that I will not allow dhaani to suffer…….
Dhaani : Pls……viplav…….u just remain as my listener only…..not come as well wisher…..I feel scared…….Pls……go away…..{dhaani gets emotional}
Viplav : Why are u doing injustice to yourself…..dhaani……u are cheating ur own heart………
Dhaani : Its my fate…..
Dhulari : If buchiya will not marry him …..Then he and his sons will seize my daughter……. Dhaani : Maa……..{she manages maa to be seated in a chair} Viplav…….one night forcefully he tried to spoil me…….my clothes were torned…..my bangles were broken…….But before that wolf could achieve his intention to steal my virginity……I managed to escape from there by breaking a glass on his head…… But the prblms didn’t ended…….While I was running through streets…..to get a shelter from him…….people misunderstood that am a characterless girl……they throw stones on me…… I am not bothered for myself…..But they blamed my maa’s upbringing……They said that my maa is widow……And she is not leaving sasural even after her husband’s death…..My maa is independent…..she wants to live and die in this house only…..because my baaba’s [father] soul exists here…..He brought my maa to this house……And she will live here only……{burst into tears}
Dhulari : I just want my daughter to be safe in some one’s hands……I want to see her marriage…….after that am ready to go any where….people are blaming that am not following customs and traditions of this society….Am a big curse for religion……only…… People are blaming my daughter’s character….they think that she has spoiled now…….just because that night…….he taken my daughter with him……She tried to commit suicide also….but she is still alive …….because its her baaba and my wish that we should be able to see her marriage in this house…….And she is living like a living corpse only…….
Dhaani : Whenever I sings meera bhajans…I felt that there will be a savior for me……just like meera maa believed in kaanaji…..i believe that may be a savior will come……to my life…… And today I didn’t came because…….he forcefully put this ring on my finger and rewarded me those {she points out the table……viplav finds bridal dress] laal lehanga……and bangles…. And I have lost all hope…..viplav……now no one can change it……{dhaani bent @ her own knees and burst into tears}
Viplav : Dhaani……[emotional] Trust me……Am here to change ur fate……{viplav holds her hands and both of them share an emotional eyelock]
Dhaani : No……They will kill u…….U are alone…….viplav……..he and his so called people can do anything……It’s a question of ur life and risk…….I can’t allow u to take risk 4 me……
Viplav : If it’s a question of risk….then am ready to take risk…..
Dhaani : U have to bear pain……only…..
Viplav : If its pain ……then am ready for to suffer pain……
Dhaani : {releasing her hands from his hold] No….viplav……..U can’t resist them……only few hrs are left…..after that sun will rise and they will…….{she cries}
Viplav : Dhaani…….nothing will happen to u…..{he hold her face in his hands and stares her eyes} He can’t marry u forcefully…….
Dhaani : Viplav….why u are showing these much care 2 me……so many people remains as my listener……but I never seen a listener who came forward for me like these……why viplav……why ??? [emotional]
Viplav : As u told……u waited for a savior and now I have become ur savior……..Dhaani…….
Dhaani : What??? [shocked]
Viplav : Its true dhaani…..look @ my eyes……Trust me…….am ur savior…….
{Dhaani stares him and burst into tears and hugs him…….Viplav also gets emotional and both of them lost themselves in the hug for some time…..}
