The episode starts with kartikeya telling ganesh that, Sharva, bhava, rudra, ugra, bhima, pashupati, mahadev and Ishan are the eight forms of mahadev. The first form is bhava, meaning element of water. the second is sharva meaning the element of land. The third form is rudra meaning the element of fire. The fourth form is ugra meaning the element of Air. The fifth form is bhima, meaning the element of space and universe. The sixth form is Mahadev who represents the moon. The 7th form is Ishan, meaning it represents the Sun. The eighth form is pashupati which represents the life of all creatures. Kartikeya tells this way these are the 8 forms of mahadev and lord shiva resides in all these elements and the entire universe lives in these 8 elements.
Rishi markande comes to ganesh and says ganesh,

mahadev is the one. Even though mahadev is the god of destruction, no one fears him because he understands everyone and fulfills the most difficult wishes of all disciples! That is why even I had to die at the age of 16 years old, but lord shiva protected me from yamraj and gave me the boon of immortality. Kuber dev comes and says shiv is eternal and whose humbleness is not complete without his presence, his abstract form is an illusion and shiva is the creator, caretaker, end and beginning of the universe. Kuber dev says because of mahadev, a wicked thief became the protector of all wealth in the universe. Ganesh says I did not understand? Who thief? Kuber says in my first life, I was a monk called yadgat and I took to gambling and liquor and many more misdeeds. One day, I was stealing something and some soldiers noticed me, so I ran and hid in a shiva temple in the night. In flashback, kuber is hiding in the temple and out of fear of darkness, he lights some cloth in a plate and stands beside the shiv ling. Kuber dev says even though I am caught, I don’t want to be punished for a long time. Mahadev smiles and blesses kuber. Parvati says what are you doing? You are blessing that man who lit fire for himself and not your Pooja. Mahadev says I know but he has still given light to my temple, so I will fulfill his wish. Yadgat is caught by the soldiers and they tell he will get punishment of death. Kuber tells ganesh, I got what I had wished for, a punishment where pain is less and punishment is completed soon. The soul of yadgat is being taken to yamlok by the yamdut, the gan of mahadev appear and stop the yamdut and say mahadev have sent them to take yadgat and mahadev has decide to give him rebirth. Yamdut release yadgat.
Kuber tells ganesh, mahadev is so kind, he gave a wicked thief like me a blessing too and gave me rebirth, I was born as yuvraj dab, the son of king kalingram in the next life. Kuber says in that life, I worshipped mahadev all time and did his prayers so as a result when I was free of that life, in the next life I was born as the son of sage visharwa and in that life with the blessings of lord shiva I got the capability to meditate and pray to lord shiva. So I started my profound meditation of lord shiva, the heat of my meditation began raging. Mahadev finally gave me darshan with mata parvati and calmed down the heat of my meditation. Kuber says I had only one wish, to see mahadev in person and he gave me darshan with mata parvati. Mahadev then appointed me as the god of wealth and the protector of all wealth in the universe because I had done my meditation standing amidts hot lava. Kuber says this way, I was freed of my sins in the previous life and I became the protector of all wealth of the universe. Lord Vishnu and mata laxmi come.
Laxmi says she had offered her body to mahadev in sacrifice and lord Vishnu offered his own eyes to mahadev in prayers and meditation. Laxmi tells the story, that once in vaikunth when she was serving lord Vishnu then he was looking at someone else with his closed eyes and was very happy. Lord Vishnu says, I am happy. Laxmi says you must be thinking about me, lord Vishnu stays quiet. Laxmi is worried and says if I am not in your heart, then I have to know who is residing in your heart. Laxmi looks for herself and she sees mahadev. Laxmi then says, I thought in the other half I must be residing but in the other half, the entire world lived. Laxmi is sad and says why this injustice with me? laxmi says I want a blessing that I shall reside in your heart. Lord Vishnu says if I could do this, I would have! But only lord shiva can do that.
All gods come and sit. Laxmi says then I went to mount Kailash to meditate so that I could impress mahadev and get a boon from him, I prayed and meditated and sacrificed my body parts to mahadev. Lord Vishnu says mahadev was impressed and he gave devi laxmi darshan! Mahadev gave the complete body back to devi laxmi. Laxmi then is thankful to mahadev for his dashan, mahadev tells her to ask for a boon. Laxmi says mahadev, what would a wife want more? I want to be the one having a special place in prabhu vishnu’s heart but mahadev since you both stay in each other’s heart, then how will I get my place? So I have only one wish, I want to live in the heart of prabhu Vishnu. Mahadev says tathastu and says the way shri hari Narayana lives in your heart, you shall live in his before me! and you shall be known by another name too, Vishnu bhakshu vibhushani meaning the ornament of prabhu Vishnu who lives in his heart. Laxmi says thank you mahadev and even I announce today, those who will say the mantra om Vishnu bhakshu vibhushani, I shall always live in their heart. Laxmi says but mahadev, there should be an easy way to impress you too! In future, how shall disciple sacrifice their organs to you? mahadev says yes devi, the organs you sacrificed in this place, here a tree shall stand. Mahadev blesses and a tree appears and it shall be known as Veda vriksha and it shall be amongst five prominent places. Lord Vishnu says a same test, even I had to give. Ganesh says for this, you gave your own eyes? Lord Vishnu tells the story, it started with 2 dangerous demons who were sons of king viparichit. One was named, durdant and other was jarantak. They were so powerful that they could defeat huge armies together, only mahadev could defeat such demons.
