Vihan V Verma bids farewell to Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
As Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin prepares for a significant 20-year time leap, several actors, including Vihan V Verma, will be exiting the show. Vihan stepped into the shoes of Mohit Chavan, replacing Adish Vaidya, in September 2021. Sharing his decision in a recent interview, he expresses, “I had uncertainties about continuing with the show after the time leap, as my character would have aged to 50. Playing a 30-year-old at 23 was already a stretch. The previous time leap felt strange initially, but I eventually adjusted. However, this upcoming leap seemed too much for me, and I wasn’t comfortable with it. Additionally, the focus would shift to the new cast after the leap. The makers understood my concerns, and I am glad that my exit has been amicable.”
Vihan will wrap up his shoot in the coming days. He shares, “It saddens me to bid farewell to a popular show and part ways with my co-actors. However, I am also excited about the new opportunities that await me. I don’t believe in taking breaks and will eagerly return to work as soon as I am offered something thrilling.”
Recently, Vihan and his co-actor Sneha Bhawsar, who portrays his wife on the show, were linked romantically. However, during our conversation with them, they denied the rumors. Vihan explains, “It did become a bit awkward, particularly for Sneha, as she comes from a conservative family. I understand that such speculations are common in our profession, but it’s better to clarify things when they go overboard. We continue to be good friends.”
