“Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin” is gearing up for another major leap, which will see the departure of Shakti Arora, Sumit Singh, and the entire Bhosale family. Notably, Bhavika Sharma will remain part of the show post-leap. Pinkvilla recently caught up with actor Vijhay Badlaani to discuss his thoughts on the upcoming changes, his bond with the cast, and more.
In an exclusive interview, Vijhay Badlaani opened up about the emotional turmoil he has faced recently. “Not many people know that I recently lost my mother in March. The recent months have been very difficult for me, however, I found my solace on the sets of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.’ The cast and crew really supported me during this tough time, and I was committed to dedicating the upcoming years to the show. However, with the sudden leap, we are all together for the last few days. It will be a painful departure for me,” Badlaani shared.
He further elaborated on the support he received from the production house and cast. “Since I was going through a personal battle, I would only report on sets for a few hours and leave to be with my mother in the hospital. The production house was very accommodating and understood my situation. Even the cast was very supportive and didn’t show any traces of jealousy as the production house adjusted my schedule.”
“The emotional support from Pankaj sir, Nimai Sir, and Vaishali Ma’am was immense. Even Shakti was there for me. We were a big happy family, and bidding goodbye to them will surely be tough,” he added.
The announcement of the leap came as a surprise to many, including Badlaani. “The leap news came as a shocker for us. We were at a 2.1 rating, and taking a leap at this point didn’t add up for most of us. Having said that, I have had an amazing journey so far on the show, and I will always cherish the happy memories.”
Reflecting on the last day of shooting, Badlaani admitted, “I’m surely going to cry because I’m an emotional person. Let’s see how things unfold.”
As the show prepares for its new phase, reports confirm that Hitesh Bharadwaj will join Bhavika Sharma and Karavir Bohra in “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.” Pinkvilla exclusively revealed that actress Kaveri Priyam will play a parallel lead, with Varun Jain, Pallavi Pradhan, and Sagar Saini also joining the primary cast.
The upcoming leap in “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin” marks a significant transition, filled with mixed emotions for the cast and crew. Vijhay Badlaani’s heartfelt reflections highlight the strong bonds formed on set and the challenges of saying goodbye. As the show embarks on its new journey, fans eagerly await the fresh storylines and new characters that will continue to captivate their hearts.

No fans do not eagerly wait. We would rather the show not take a leap 🥱
Of course we would like to see the current storyline and love story of ishvi with the same faces. This abrupt leap is even a big shocker for the audience.
They always say “fans eagerly awaits” what fans? No one agrees with this crap, they just needed to change the lame, foolish story, viewers wanted love between Savi and Ishaan, NOT the hate and not the pokey, clingy Reeva who started getting more face time than Savi.
And they bringing back the psycho? 🤨 which means new people, same shit for Savi and nothing changes except faces. Makes no sense at all.
Anyways hope their imaginary eager fans enjoy becoz the real viewers are gone
The producers are not speaking the truth if the fans eagerly waiting for the leap with twist and turns. I will not be looking at Ghum when the entire Bholse family us removed because the story line will not be as originally intended. How can you remove the lead and bring back his parents to whom Savi she is not their son after removing the parents you now want to bring them back. SUREKA took the child from them mo resolution to that story the child will die another no resolution what will the parents have. This show has no essence one cannot learn anything from it. Rajhan Sahi this is a disappointment.i am sure you could have keep the actors and expand on the current story line. The audience is crying out for you to keep them but you are not listening it’s timefor the audience to stop watching the show
Hmmm I wonder…. Did the whole thing with Sumit and Shagun fighting on set cause the problem so they want to get rid of most of the cast…. Maybe there was something going on behind the scenes cause the leap makes no sense at all unless there is a problem behind the scenes
Well the production house acted unprofessionally to the casts. If we the viewers hated the leap much more the casts. Omg the casts itself didnt knew that there will be a leap. That all of the sudden their characters will be gone. The casts should be the one to be informed to what changes that the serial will going throug. Production house you should know the ethics and the confidentiality when it comes to professionalism.
