Vineet Raina, who was essaying the role of Param Singh Gill in the show Choti Sarrdaarni, has quit the show. According to the reports, Vineet had some creativity issues with the makers of the show.
In a recent interview with BT the actor talked about it and shared, “When I replaced Shehzada Dhami in December 2021, I felt that there was good scope in playing Param. At that time, I was looking forward to being a part of such an interesting and long-running show. Also, Param is the central character of the show. But, after a month of shooting, I realised that the character did not shape up the way it should have. So, I felt it was better to amicably quit the show and grab something more interesting. I was a part of a very good team and the production house also understood my point of view. They also gave me a good farewell and we cut a cake together.”
Vineet is currently shooting for a web project. Talking about it he says, “It is not about the medium. I always want to do strong roles whether they are negative, supporting or lead. If you see my career graph, many times I have played characters, which are not lead roles but are pivotal to the show. I got an offer for a web show and it sounded interesting. So, I decided to bid adieu to Choti Sarrdaarni.”
Well, we wish Vineet all the best for all his future endeavors.
