Vishal Kotian might not have won Bigg Boss 15 but he has been lauded for the efforts he put in during his stint in the show. Vishal in a recent interview with BT shared that ever since he came out of the Bigg Boss house his life has changed for good.
He shared, “I have been working on Indian television for a long time and achieved fame and money, but Bigg Boss 15 gave me an identity. Earlier, people knew me by my character’s name and used to say, ‘ Arre, yeh toh wo Akbar Birbal wala actor hai, but they didn’t know my name. Now when people see me on the streets or at malls, they scream, ‘ Arre, yeh toh Bigg Boss wala Vishal Kotian hai!’ Participating in Bigg Boss has made a huge difference to my life.”
Talking about his bond with Shamita, “It’s a selfless brother-sister bond that I will always cherish. As far as the game was concerned, both of us always played as strong and individual contestants. I have always said that game mein rishta nahi aur rishte mein game nahi.”
Talking about his absence from Shamita’s birthday party, he adds, “ Logon ko kuch na kuch bolna hai, without using their brains. I really wanted to be a part of the birthday party but coincidently, there was a car launch and I had already committed my presence there. Since both the events were at the same time, I could not attend the party and everybody cooked up their own stories. I’m always in touch with Shamita and she knows it well.”
Vishal now wants to take up new projects he says, “Now, I’m ready to concentrate on my career. After doing daily soaps, I had my share of reality shows too. Now, I’m keen to do a web show or might like to host a show. For some time, I want to keep myself away from daily soaps.”
Talking about his lady love Payal Shetty, Vishal said, “Right now, Payal and I are focusing on our careers. She has done a Sanskrit movie recently. We want to live together but first, we want to settle down in our individual careers.”
