Part 3: First meeting
The days passed, in these both, Swara and sanskar were thinking that what they ask and most important will the person will be the his/her soulmate. Their nervousness increased as the days passed. Soon the day came when they will be coming face to face. Shomi and swara were preparing snacks in the kitchen.
Shomi: Shona, why are you standing? Beta you go and get ready.
Swara: ma, let me help you then I will surely go
Shekhar came from behind and said, “Swara, beta you go and get ready. I will help shomi.”
Swara: But baba
Shekhar: Swara go beta
Swara sighs, “Ok”
Saying this she goes away. Shekhar notices a tear drop in shomi’s eyes.
Shekhar (worriedly): What happened shomi?
Shomi (emotionally): Shekhar, shona was so small when we held her in our arms. She held our finger and learned walking. And today she is so mature that a groom is coming to see her. It already made me emotional then how will I handle myself when she will go away to another house.
Shekhar (genuinely): Shomi, please don’t cry. If swara will see then she will also be upset. How will you handle her? I know it is difficult for us. My day started after seeing her face but after marriage, I won’t be able to see her. Shomi, someday the daughters have to leave their parents. Acha now stop crying.
Shomi smiles and they started making snacks. In swara’s room, swara got ready in a orange and black suit. Just then shomi comes into the room and sees her daughter almost ready.
Swara (innocently): Ma, won’t you make me ready?
Shomi nods and comes to her. She helps her in wearing the matching jewelry. She puts a black dot behind her ear.
Shomi (admiringly): You are looking so beautiful beta.
Swara smiles nervously and hugs shomi by her waist and hides her face in her belly. Shomi caresses her hair.
Shomi: Don’t be scared shona. I believe you that my bacha will fulfill the duty as a wife and daughter in law really well, just like she fulfilled as a sister, daughter and a friend.
Swara looks at her with innocent eyes, “How did you know that I was nervous and scared.”
Shomi (smiles): I am your mother shona. I can sense it really well. And your eyes are the mirror of your feelings and your inner self.
Swara smiles and stands up.
Swara: Ma, how will I know that the person is my soulmate?
Shomi cups her one cheek and says, “Ask from your heart that if the boy infront of you is your soulmate because heart always gives correct answer. And shona, there is no pressure from me and your baba. If you like the boy then we will proceed and if not then we will reject him. Ok.”
Swara nods. Shomi kisses her forehead and goes dowstairs. Swara closes her eyes in nervousness and thinks, “Kanhaji, please be with me….I am unable to handle this nervousness.”

Soon two audi cars were parked infront of swara’s house. Sanskar came out in black t-shirt, red blazer and blue pants…looking handsome, dashing but cute at the same time…making all girls flattered who were passing by.

Shekhar, shomi and arjun were standing at corridor to welcome the maheshwari family. Bhagatji was also there with maheshwari family.
Nayi umang, nayi khushi
Mehak utha hai aangan
Bhagatji: Ramprasadji, sujata bhabhiji, this is shekharji, swara’s father and this is shomi bhabhiji, swara’s mother.
Shekhar: Ji namaste
Rp: Namsate shekharji
Shomi and sujata hugged each other. While ragini, laksh, aryan and sanskar took blessings from shekhar and shomi while arjun took blessings from RamTha. (rp and sujata). While sanskar’s gaze went to a window of gadodia house which was opened.

Swara, who was looking at the ground. She rubs her fidgets with her finger nervously. She slowly stands and goes towards the drawer. She takes out the envelope which had sanskar’s photo. She was going to take out his photo but then she puts back and smiles shyly.

While Rp, shekhar, sujata and shomi were talking, sanskar was looking around to see is she is coming.
Ho.. ankhon ko usi ka intezar hai
Swara corrects her bindi by looking at the mirror.
Unhi ke liye yeh roop yeh shringar hai
Shekhar and arjun start talking with sanskar but our sanskar was getting little nervous and desperate to see swara infront of his eyes.
Dehki hai tasveer hi

Aryan: Dadi, when will my to be chachi come.
Everyone laughs.
Shomi: I will bring shona…I mean swara
Ragini: Aunty can I also come
Shomi smilingly nods.
Shmi and ragini went to swara’s room. Ragini looked around her room, which was blue in colour…with a bed in the middle of the room…drawer beside the bed…dressing table in a corner and a study table in another corner. She saw many family photos hanging on the wall. At one point ragini thought that she in sanskar’s room. Ragini smiled thinking that both of have similar choices. They saw swara standing near the window (same window at which sanskar was gazing).
Shomi: Shona
Swara turned around and saw shomi and ragini…swara was confused seeing her. Soon shomi cleared her confusion by introducing her. Soon shomi and ragini held her shoulders at either side and brought her downstairs in the hall. Sanskar looked at her memorisingly.

Swara first took blessings from RamTha and laksh. She started talking with them. Sanskar was stealing glances from her…without anyone’s notice. Sanskar smiled whenever swara smiled.
Ho… sabse chhupa ke idhar se udhar se
Mujhko hi dekhe chor nazar se
Sanskar felt a hand on his hand. He saw that the owner of the hand was none other than bhagatji. Bhagat ji singed, “how is she?” Sanskar shyly looked down

Rp: Shekharji, we like swara a lot. Did you like sanskar?
Shekhar: Ramprasadji, I will be very lucky to have sanskar as my son-in-law.
Sujata: then why not we let swara and sanskar to talk alone and let them decide.
Shomi: Ji, arjun go and take swara and sanskar till swara’s room.
Arjun nods. SwaSan stood up and started to move towards swara’s room. At front, arjun and sanskar were walking together while ragini and swara were behind.
Ragini: I can clearly understand your feelings swara. Even I went through this stage. Trust me, sanskar is a very humble person. And don’t hesitate to ask him anything. ok
Swara nods. Arjun and sanskar dropped swara and sanskar till swara’s room. When sanskar entered her room, he looked around…. indeed she had similar taste as his. He looked around and saw few pictures of swara with her family.
Sanskar smiles and thinks only one thing, “Cute, innocent and mature.” There was a silence in the room as both of them were shy and nervous to say. Sanskar broke the ice.
Sanskar (softly and genuinely): Hi, as you know we are here to talk about our future as we will be spending whole life together. So let me introduce myself first, I am Sanskar Maheshwari. I did my MBA in America and came back to India to establish my own identity and company. Because I always wanted to be independent. I love my family a lot. I am little shy in terms of love and that is why I always get teased by my bhai but my bhabhi always saves me. I like one girl when I was in college. But I didn’t have the courage to tell and later I got to know that she was already dating two boys. I didn’t tell this to anyone but I felt like telling you.
All the time, swara listening like a good listener. The thing that impressed her the most is the way he opened up his heart and told about his crush, also.
Sanskar: Bhabhi told me that you are a music teacher.
Swara (sweetly): ji, from childhood I loved to sing so my father made me learn music. I like to teach and share knowledge so I started teaching music to children. I also learned how to play guitar and sitar..both
Sanskar: Do you believe in that if we ask something from god and he will give it to us?
Swara (smiles): I believe that if you are putting your 100% effort in getting what you want, doing hardwork and that too on right path then god will definitely help you to achieve it. And if you don’t get it then maybe there is something else stored for you in your fate which is better for you.
Sanskar was impressed by her talks.
Sanskar: Do you want to ask something else from me? You can ask me anything without any hesitation…maybe about that girl?
Swara (truthfully): I got all the answers of my questions.
Sanskar smiles and stares her with a new emotion which he never felt while swara’s heart was racing after sensing his gaze on her.
