Part 4: Yes
wara slowly looks up and sees sanskar staring her. They share a few second eyelock which was broken by sanskar.
Sanskar: Waise, nice room.
Swara: Thank you
Just then shomi and ragini enter the room. Swara and sanskar stand up.
Ragini: So if your talks are over then should we go down.
Sanskar nods and goes downstairs with ragini.
Rp: So sanskar, what is your decision?
Sanskar: Ahm ahm, umm…(while blushing) if you and ma like swara then…
Laksh hits softly at sanskar’s head, “Mr bholuram, it is written clearly on your face that you liked her and it is a yes from you.”
Everyone get happy listening to this.
Shekhar: Arrey wah, that is a great news.
Rp: but shekharji, ask from swara also.
Shomi says while coming with swara, “ram bhaisa, it is a yes from her also.”
(If I would have written ‘no’ then you guys would have killed me???)
Sanskar smiles widely, ear to ear making laksh and ragini giggle. Shekhar goes to swara and kisses her forehead.
Sujata goes to swara and takes out a pair of kangan from her purse.
Sujata: Swara, sanskar’s grandmother got two pairs of kangans for her both grand daughter in law. So this one is for you.
Swara looks at shomi who nods to accept it. Swara looks at sujata who then makes her wear the kangan. Swara bends down to take blessings.
Sujata: Always stay happy and come soon to my house and change my workaholic son.
Swara looks down shyly.
Rp: Why don’t we finalise the date for engagement also.
Shekhar: Jaisa aap theek samjhe (to arjun) Arjun call panditji.
After few minutes the panditji came.
Panditji: next week, Wednesday, is a really auspicious day for the engagement.
Rp: Arrey wah… toh fir engagement pakki
Shekhar: Ji zaroor (yes of course)… congratulations ramprasadji
Rp: You to shekhar ji (saying they hugged each other)
Shomi and sujata also hugged each other.
Ragini hugged swara and said, “congratulations my to be devraniji (sister in law).”
Swara shyly reciprocates to the hug and says, “thank you”
Soon the maheshwari family was ready to depart. Swara took blessings from rp and sujata and gave chocolates to aryan.
Arjun: Di, come with me
Saying this he pulled her.
Swara: But arjun, where are you taking me?
Arjun: You ask so many questions di.
While ragini tells to sanskar.
Ragini: Sanskar, I think I forgot my purse on the terrace when I went with aunty and ma to see their house. Can you please bring it.
Sanskar: Ji bhabhi.
Sanskar starts to go towards the terrace. He reaches but then he hears the beautiful voice, which was none other than of swara.
Swara (worriedly): Why did you bring me here arjun? They are going and you brought me here.
Sanskar (monologue): oh so this was their planning to make us meet before going.
Arjun sees sanskar, “see you downstairs di”
Saying this he ran away. At first, swara was confused but then she saw sanskar standing. He slowly moves towards her. The moonlight was increasing the glow on her face. Swara’s eyes were lower due to shyness and were fidgeting with her fingers. He smiles. He takes out his phone and takes a photo of her. Listening to the sound of clicking photo, she looks up instantly. She looks into his eyes and gets lost in them. Same with sanskar, he was also looking in her eyes. Their cute eyelock was broken by laksh, who was calling sanskar.
Sanskar (clearing his throat): See you soon and take care.
Saying this he was going but stopped hearing her sweet voice.
Swara: you too… take care
A smile forms on sanskar’s face. He turns around and sees swara smiling.
Sanskar: Bye
Swara: bye
He goes away and after few minutes she also goes downstairs. The families bid bye and maheshwaris went. Sanskar was still looking at swara through the mirror of the car. He looked at her till the gadodias went inside their house. When they went, he took a deep sigh. (RamTha and aryan were coming in one car while RagLak and Sanskar in another car)
Ragini (naughtily): So devarji, how is my devraniji?
Sanskar: ummm..good
Ragini: Hain, only good. Tell us something about your first meeting, first talk with her.
Sanskar smiles remembering her talks, her big doe eyes filled with shyness and beautiful smile on her face.
Sanskar (lost): Her talks were so soothing and so deep. She can make the place in anyone’s heart by her talks only. Her big doe eyes, which were full of innocence and shyness. (ragini and laksh were totally shocked listening to sanskar). Whenever she looked at me, I just feel a different feeling in my heart. Whenever she smiles, I just feel like seeing her my whole life. I have never seen a girl like her, someone so pure, so innocent like a kid yet mature.
Laksh: Wah! What magic she did on you. uff…finally, my brother has grown up now. I hope their marriage happens soon and change my workaholic brother into romantic, carefree person.
Sanskar came to senses and got little embarrassed.
Sanskar: You focus on the road first. And for your kind information, you were also workaholic ok.
Laksh: But at least I enjoyed my life. You are always digging holes in those files and tenders. (murmurs) Sometimes I think that mom ate quotation sheets, tenders when she was expecting. She saw business news instead of movies and tv serials.
Sanskar (narrowing his eyes): I heard it.
Laksh: Good, it was meant for you only
Sanskar: Bhabhi!
Laksh: Everyday you just keep repeating your bhabhis name. huh!
Sanskar looks back and sees ragini already slept. He giggles.
Laksh: Now why are you laughing?
Sanskar: Looks like bhabhi got bored of your talks so she slept.
Laksh: Oh hello, Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari, it’s you who is boring….not me.
Sanskar: Whatever
Laksh: By the way, did you ask swara’s number from her
Sanskar was mum as he forgot to ask her number. Now how will he talk to her?
Laksh: God knows, what will happen to this dumb head.
Sanskar: So what? I will get her phone number.
Laksh: Will see…
At Gadodia house…
Swara has changed into night dress. She lays down on the bed and thinks about today. She shyly smiles remembering how intensely he was gazing her when they were in their room, remembering about their engagement date. She takes a deep sigh and sleeps thinking about sanskar.
In MM
Sanskar is sitting near the window and doing something on his phone. He wasn’t actually doing something, he was gazing swara’s picture in his phone, which he took today. He smiles cutely. He feels like seeing her like this for his whole life. He never got any such feelings for any other girls but now he is getting it only for swara.
Sanskar: What have you done to me swara? I just can’t wait to have you in my life and make my boring life colourful.
He turns off his phone and sleeps thinking about swara.
Both of them slep thinking about thier life partners and their future. Even though they didn’t talk much in their first meeting but their souls are connected now.
