Sirf Tum featuring Eisha Singh and Vivian Dsena is keeping the fans on their toes ever since the show was announced. The show is based on the story of two people, who are complete opposites – Suhani, essayed by Eisha Singh, and Ranveer, essayed by Vivian Dsena. Going by the looks of it, many believe that the upcoming show is inspired by Kabir Singh.
In a recent interview with India Forums, Vivian talked about it and shared, ”It is very easy to judge something without seeing it because you see a glimpse of it and you have to make a perception. As far as the show is concerned, just because in the recent times, a medical college love story you’ve seen is Kabir Singh, so the closest you find to explain this show is Kabir Singh, but it is not.”
He adds, ”Because then, we wouldn’t be paying attention to such minute details of all the characters, of the complete approach with which we are making the show, we just had to copy it then, so why are we using our energy to approach it like that. As far as comparisons are concerned, you can’t compare it because it is a 2 and a half to 3 hours film, but we telecast approx. 24-26 times a month, that makes it a 15-hour film every month, so you cannot stretch a film of 2 and a half hours for years.”
When asked about the prep for the character. He said, ”I have never played a college boy, especially one with a medical background. I have done so earlier, but I was 200 years old there because I was a vampire. This is the first time I am playing such a character and it is a lot of hard work because I am not from a medical stream. There is a lot of learning that has to happen during the process plus I have also had to undergo physical transformation to look my part.”
