Hiya, finally the triple update is updated and I hope it wasn’t what you Twistinians expected…
Internal monologues are written in bold and without any further ado, here comes the chapter…
~Sai’s POV~
As soon as I hear Jagtap, Viraj, Pakhi Ji and another voice I cannot identify, I hang up the call…
I get my weapons and the rest of my tactical gear ready. I’m about to leave when my friends say that they are coming with me, I try to deny but they beg me as they wanna fight too.
So I tell them my plan and team up with Sunny dada and a half of the police force of Nagpur while Maya didu has Victoria and the other half of the police.
Usha Maushi, Aniket and Tina are not coming as Tina’s 2 months pregnant and Usha Maushi is going to take care of Yuvraj.
We talk about the plan of how we can fool those Mane’s in the car ride there. As we reach our destination, we see many goons there, so Maya di and I silently sneak towards them, we scare those in front of us.
We overpower them as they are drunk and easily beat them up.
As two still remain, Sunny dada beats them up and we enter the house through the window of Virat Sir’s room.
I look around the room and see it in a mess, not the usual way, clean. I shake my head.
When all of this is over I need to talk with him. My heart and mind say.
We slowly walk down the stairs until I see the Mohitepatil’s held on gunpoint.
Maybe Pakhi Ji is not as bad as I thought her to be. My heart says while my mind wants to disagree.
I then yell, “get away from them Jagtap.”
The fire in me is back, as everyone looks at me as if they have never seen any woman wearing military clothes, he then leaves them and straight after that aunty points a gun at her husband.
“I should have known that you are a Mane through and through as you killed IPS officer Nagesh Chawan.” I hear people gasping, especially Kaku who shows some emotions for the first time.
“How do you know that?” She asks in shock.
“Ma’am,” Samrat dada says while saluting towards me.
“Dada, mujhe ma’am mat bulaye(Don’t call me ma’am, brother).” I say while I shake my head.
He then asks, “how can I not call you ma’am,” he makes a dramatic pause to make everyone excited, “General Kapoor-Joshi.”
There’s another round of gasps and I smirk seeing the blood drain from the faces of the Manes.
“And you, Patralekha,” I start saying, “were around 14 years when you killed Saurav Salunke, your late father-in-law.”
This is the moment when everyone goes crazy, her mother finally lets go of her father, while he walks towards Samrat dada.
“Here are the papers you wanted, Samrat. Pakhi thought they were property papers and not divorce papers.”
“Good one, uncle.” I say, he nods and smiles.
“You are just like your mother.” He says with a surprised look.
“Thank you.” I say shyly as well as being flustered.
I’m about to say something when Kaku and Mansi Bua run towards the two ladies and slap them a few times.
As I’m about to begin again I get interrupted for the second time in a row. Someone’s clapping and it’s revealed to be Karan Mane…
“So we meet again Sai, for the second time today. It’s a pleasure to meet such a young and bright woman as yourself.”
“Karan,” I say angrily until I smirk, “I wish I could say the same thing about you!”
“Soon Vithal is going to destroy your military world by killing the two Kapoor Generals.”
“Oh, so the man who killed my mother is not here,” I shake my head while I glare at them all, “but that’s okay as my dad’s murderer is here and he is going to pay for what he did with his life.”
As I finish talking, I can see that they are scared, especially Jagtap. I smirk at the sight.
“Please don’t kill me,” he begs as he tries to come towards me but Virat Sir immediately stands in front of me.
“I make the rules here,” I say as I glare at all the Manes who seem to be shaken as no one has spoken to them like this. Because they always threatened or made fun of others.
But now it’s time for us people to shine and show them their real place. The scum on the earth, they are!
Soon my phone rings, I talk to Pawar Uncle on speaker, so that everyone knows what’s going on.
“Namastey Pawar Uncle(Hello Pawar Uncle).” I greet him and he greets back.
“There’s good news for you,” he then says, “Vithal got caught before he could attack.”
In the background I can hear Tina and Aniket arguing.
I smile knowingly and shout happily, “so you married her at last.”
“Yes, we got married just a minute ago.” He replies back happily.
Finally he and Usha Maushi got married. My heart beams in happiness while my mind just agrees.
“Can I talk to your wife, please?” I ask him while smirking at Karan Mane as the ultra shock of the day is coming still for him.
“Sai tumme mujhse baat karni thi(You wanted to talk to me Sai)?” Usha Maushi asks.
“Haan Usha Maushi,(Yes, Usha Maushi).” I say and my target looks a bit stunned, “main aap ke liye bohut khush hoon(I’m very happy for you).”
“Thank you,” I can hear how shy, she is getting, everyone else notices that too, on the other hand, Karan is getting very angry and that’s what I want.
As she hangs up he starts shouting, “how dare she marry someone else, when she’s my half-wife.”
I chuckle and question him, “how can she be your half-wife?”
He is about to say something when all of a sudden Jagtap takes his gun out and shoots at Virat Sir.
I swiftly push him away, the bullet hits near my heart but luckily I’m wearing a bulletproof vest.
“Sai,” I hear Virat Sir shouting my name as he takes my head in his lap and asks, “why did you push me away?”
“Because I’m wearing a bulletproof vest,” I smile at him as I say it. He looks at me in shock, rolls his eyes at me a moment and helps me to get up.
“You scared me to death,” he says after checking me out.
“I’m sorry,” I say while not meeting his eyes as I see from the corner of my eyes that the police force enters the premises as per plan and taking everyone away to prison except for Pakhi, her mom and the guy I don’t know because they ran away like cowards.
“You don’t need to apologise,” he says, after a pause he continues, “because I cannot imagine a life without you…”
“Why can’t you?”
“Because I have been falling head over heels for you and I cannot stop feeling lost when you’re not with me!” He confesses without a mute button and I just gasp in surprise…
