Dharmendra’s grand son and Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol is all set to set foot in the big world of Bollywood. While the movie, Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass, is already creating a lot of buzz, grand dad Dharmendra is leaving no stone unturned to support Karan and to promote his upcoming venture. For the promotions itself, three generations of Deol family were present on singing reality show Superstar Singer.
There as tribute to Dharmendra, a video was played and the reaction it got is beyond expression. The video begins with a glimpse of Sanehwal, which is 12 km away from Ludhiana. It’s the place where Dharmendra grew up. He was walked down the memory lane and all of it made him so emotional that he couldn’t hold back his tears.
As Dharmendra saw his childhood friends in the video and even those railway tracks where he used to go after bunking school, made him nostalgic and brought forth the memories of his beautiful days.

After the video Dharmendra is heard saying,“Rula diya yaar, tumne mujhe rula diya (You made me cry). Yahi Mai khwab dekhta tha yahan aane ke. Us pool pe jaata hun to us pool se kehta hu ki Dharmendra tu actor ban gaya yaar! (This is where I dreamt of coming to showbiz. Even today, whenever I visit that bridge, I say ‘Dharmendra, you became an actor!).”
Recalling the days, he said,“Us pool se ja ke kehta hu ki mere khwab pure ho gaye. Aur ye gaaon ki mitti ke kann kann se juda hun. Hum waha partition se pehle se rehte the. Mai to jazbaati insaan hun, tum mujhe waha le gaye jaha mere jazbaat ubhar ubhar ke baahar aa rahe the. (I tell it to the bridge, so that it knows that I have achieved my dreams. I am attached to the soil of my village, I am an emotional person and you took me to a place where all my emotions belong)”
