One of the most popular and long-running shows on Colors channel, Sasural Simar Ka would be having a final and confirmed closure on March 2, 2018. The show has been getting an extensions because of the stable TRPs. The show managed to pull the audience by the dramatic family clashes, rivalries, supernatural twists and love triangles. Viewers have been fed a good amount of the daily drama. The show is not sustaining the TRPs because of the highly competent dramas airing these days.
Sasural Simar Ka premiered on 25 April 2011 at the prime slot of 7.30 PM. Later, it got shifted to an early slot of 5.30 PM. The series first starred Dipika Kakar, Shoaib Ibrahim, Avika Gor, Manish Raisinghani as Simar, Prem, Roli and Siddhant, respectively in main leads. Shoaib Ibrahim left the show in 2013. Dheeraj Dhoopar replaced him and joined the cast as Prem. Dheeraj was then replaced by Mazher Sayed last year. Dipika earned much fame by her six-year stint as Simar. She had quit the show in 2017. She got replaced by Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar. The show currently stars Varun Sharma, Monica Sharma, Rohan Mehra along others. It would be interesting to see a happy ending for Simar’s Sasural.
