What’s your take on Telly’s current drama trend?

Viewers can find a common methodology used these days. Many shows are getting leaps with new child actors. They are presenting the bad equations between parents and children, and how parents try hard to win back their children. This is seen mostly in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Suhani Si Ek Ladki. Another recent trend is the kidnapping tracks. All the heroines in the lead shows are getting kidnapped for convenience. The bad sequences do something better for the characters, like making the estranged relations normal. The parents are shown working hard to strike the right chord of love with their children. Many shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Jamai Raja, Kasam, Thapki Pyaar Ki and Siya Ke Ram have shown great kidnapping drama which surely got good TRPs and entertainment for the viewers.

While memory loss tracks are also used much recently in shows like Jamai Raja and Swaragini, it surely keeps the drama quotient high. The actors put in best efforts to make the already watched boring tracks a bit happening by their fresh performances. Even then the stretched out tracks fall down after some time. Either the lead actors get replaced by new actor, or the character is totally ended. Lastly, the slow romance trend as seen mostly in Kumkum Bhagya, Jamai Raja, Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Udaan bring some hope in viewers that the leads will unite soon, but the tracks just goes on and on.
