Hiya Twistinians, welcome to my new story and I hope you all are going to like it.
Just to tell you guys this prologue starts after Sai and Virat’s wedding.
Internal monologues are written in bold and without any further ado…
20th December 2020,
~Sai’s POV~
Most of the family members around me are shouting whatever taunts comes into their mouths and even Virat Sir is glaring at me.
How dare he taunt my Aaba (Dad) for the upbringing he gave me. I’m never going to forgive him for that! My mind and heart yell in agreement.
I have had enough and shout, “bas (stop),” as loud as I can. And they all become quiet.
“You all think that you are so great that you are blinded by your own deeds.” I yell and I can see that some of them want to say something.
“You see other’s mistakes when you have done the same mistakes in the past or are still doing it.” Aai (Mom) looks proudly towards me.
I walk towards Bhavani Kaku (Aunt from father or father-in-law’s side, who is married to the elder brother or younger one).
“Let’s start with the eldest member, shall we?” I sarcastically say and she glares at me.
“So Kaku as I have seen,” she looks at me with an arrogant look, “you are quite proud to rule this house by taunting most of the family members with their status or with their intelligence.”
I take a pause and to make my point clear, “for example,” all are looking at me, “what you say to Aai as she comes from a poor house but you know what she is much richer than you as people respect her for who she is,” she looks at me and the rest with my mother-in-law is standing there straight with a smile on her face, “and not because they are scared of her.”
A few other family members later…
“Chup raho, (shut up), Mr Virat Chawan says, I smile sarcastically at him.
“Main chup nahi rahoogi Mr Chawan (Mr Chawan, I’m not going to keep my mouth shut).” I glare at him and the expression on his face changes.
Everyone, except for a few exceptions, is trying to tell me to keep quiet by threatening to slap, to kick me out of the house or to lock me in a room. I look at Aai and she nods.
“Sai, he is on his way!” Aai says a minute later and I thank her.
“Anything for you, I don’t want you to live with these people.” She glares at them all and even Shivani Bua (Aunt, sister of father or father-in-law) agrees.
“I know Aai,” I say in a calm way, “but I need to finish what I want to say because this one involves your son, my so-called-husband.”
“What do you want to say about me? Anything good to say about me or are you going to insult me too?” He asks me while his tone is aggravated.
I take a deep sigh and say, “yes, I have a lot to say to you. But telling you all of it is a waste of time as I don’t want to point a finger at your upbringing,” I never thought that I would have to fight him too, but my self-respect is more important than anything else, “like you did on mine!”
I look him in the eyes and yell at him, “how dare you point a finger on the daughter of the man,” his expression changed to sadness and I ignore it, “who saved your life? If he hadn’t you would have been dead. And why did you ruin three lives and mine too?”
“What do you mean by that?” He asks while shouting at me.
“Don’t act so innocent, Mr Chawan it doesn’t suit you!” I shout back.
After telling him for about 30 minutes, my opinion about him, he gets angry and is about to slap me, when a voice stops him, “don’t you dare slap her.”
I turn around and a smile grazes my face…
~End of her POV and prologue~
~AN~
Damn this is the longest prologue ever written by me!
Don’t hate me for what I did, but it’s needed to show some people that women are stronger than you think. Even people like Virat and his family forget that.
Thanks for reading.
