WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE……. (VIDHANI OS)

Another day has knocked my door……I find my friend suvarna smiling and murmuring through the ear phone……This was a kind of usual practice since her future hubby, lover…..oops!!!! I don’t know how  to explain it…..I wonder whether she gets time to sleep or not…….Throughout nights,i find her chit-chats and being a civilized person, I controlled myself for not giving ear and eye to her privacy……I cover myself in the woolen blanket and used to hug my teddy bear because that was the only special thing which was given by some one in my childhood……I took a deep breath and slowly kissed my teddy’s forehead and smiled…….After the quick bath and simple make-up, I picked my bag and books as i have to rush college……”Dhaani” ……The voice turned as a surprise to me because suvarna never breaks her “chitchats”…..

Dhaani : Yeah….

Suvarna : Yaar, today also u are wearing this kurti ??

Dhaani : Why, Is there any problem ??

Suvarna : Of course….Today is valentine’s day……And each and every one will….

Dhaani : [interrupts] Pls,suvarna…..For me this is just like a normal day and i am not committed to any one …..I want  to be myself….

Suvarna : Be urself……I am not against of u, but u know what some times we meet special one and life will become colorful…

Dhaani : U are in love and that makes u 2 find everything as a craze or crush……Just leave me……I have 2 attend lectures…..

Suvarna : Oops!!! U are too boring, yaar……Every one will be in lover’s corner……The lovely park which is like a paradise. ….Waiting for the arrival of valentine…..

Dhaani : Just shut up!!! I have seen the same park as the Dark park which often become the victim of break-ups also…..Pls don’t tell it as a paradise……

Suvarna : Ok, My Rebel Girl……I just want 2 ask u something…..Do you believe that this is love ?? [suvarna picks teddy and stares dhaani]

Dhaani : I don’t know……..U all guys use 2 tell about the feel of love, the madness which u find in love and…….about viplav……He is my childhood friend and he gifted me this one before 14 yrs while his dad got job transfer……..After that I haven’t met him….Neither he nor I didn’t tried 2 find each other and contact each other……I don’t know whether he remember me any more…..

Suvarna : 14 years……Long time……..But you know what this teddy is keeping you to live with a hope……

Dhaani : What do u mean ??

Suvarna : Dhaani, pick this one with u…….

Dhaani : What ?? Why should i take teddy to the college ??

Suvarna : Just do what i said …….My lovepathy tells that special thing will happen to you…….

Dhaani : [smiles] Okay……[dhaani takes teddy with her]

Scene shifts to the bus stop…..Dhaani finds hard to enter the bus as the whole bus was crowded……Dhaani managed to stand at the corner, but her hand slipped and teddy fell down some where at the bus……..Dhaani screamed in pain…..”My teddy….My teddy ….Pls stop the bus…..” With a whistle bus got stopped…….

Conductor : What happened , beti ?

Dhaani : Uncle, my teddy…..[dhaani gets emotional]

Conductor : Offo, beti……U will get 100 teddies today…….Already bus is late……..

Dhaani : Uncle,pls…..That teddy is so precious….I can’t lose it….It fell down somewhere……I have 2 find it….

Conductor : Okay, we will give u 5 minutes….

Dhaani bend @ her own knees and searched each and every corner, but teddy was not there……Dhaani raised slowly and remained silent……Another whistle was on and dhaani continued the journey with a painful heart……

Scene shifts 2 college……..

Dhaani entered the college entrance and finds every thing was decorated with satin ribbons, flowers and lights……Dhaani closed her eyes with much pain as tears were falling from her cheeks] Mean while an unknown person came near her and smiled…..

Person : I think u missed this one…..

Dhaani opened her eyes and stared the man’s eyes……She finds those eyes as majestic and felt she have seen them before…….

The person extended the teddy bear to her……..Dhaani smiled with teary eyes and picked it quickly from his hand…..

Dhaani : Thanks… Thanks a lot………

Person : I am sorry……..

Dhaani : Sorry, for what ??

Person : I was doubted whether this was just a crush or is it love ?? But after finding you with this teddy, i find myself as a stupid who missed this love…….

Dhaani : What !!!!

Person : U still didn’t get me……[viplav picked a piece of note from his pocket and showed it to dhaani] ” I WILL MISS U RAAKSHAS”……..[Dhaani reads the hand written note by her when viplav left the town before 14 years]

Dhaani : Viplav!!!

Viplav nodded his head with a sweet smile…….Dhaani pinched viplav’s cheek…..

Viplav : Aah!!!! Jhansi Ki Raani!!! U haven’t changed a bit……

Dhaani : Viplav, u are really a rude raakshas……Why u came so late ??

Viplav : I was confused, dhaani……..It took much time for me to understand whether it was love or not…..When i find it’s love, I thought to contact you, but felt if i will open what i feels for you, then you will reject me and i can’t tolerate it…….Then i supressed that feel in my heart itself…..

Dhaani : The same was with me also…….When every where used 2 tell abt love, i use 2 be the opponent who tells love is nothing……But from inner heart, i was waiting for a glance of you, and i also thought to contact you, but i was also scared whether u will reject me……I can’t handle it, viplav…….[dhaani gets emotional]

Viplav : Dhaani, Some times distances makes the relationship more deeper….That’s what made us 2 live in love…….And finally it made me the courage to express my love….. I was with u in that bus……I was thinking about how to talk with u……..What will be ur reaction and so and so……As soon as i find u searching for teddy, i understood that this raakshas is really special to you…….I hidden it with myself……

Dhaani : U raakshas…..I was much worried……I thought I am unlucky…….I will never get my love,,……[dhaani literally cries]

Viplav : Dhaani……..Dhaani…….Pls……stop crying……..[dhaani didn’t stops]…….Dhaani……..Pls…..[viplav holds dhaani’s face in his palms] Dhaani…I LOVE YOU…..

Dhaani : [stares viplav] What u said ??

Viplav : I said, I love you……..

Dhaani : U took much time for saying this…..

Viplav : I know, i am sorry…….Dhaani listen 2 me…..

Dhaani turns her face like a kid……Viplav slowly bend @ his own knees and slowly extended his hand to her ……. ” I am not a poet to recite few lines on love, .I am not a magician who could do magic for love…….I am not a hero who can fight and impress to fall in love…….What i know is I am viplav, that viplav who was so naughty in childhood and got a nickname called raakshas from some one who changed my life…….I really want 2 live as that raaksahas now because i love her so much……..This 14th feb , i just want 2 ask my 14 yrs. love, will u be my valentine ???

Dhaani nodded her head with teary eyes….They hugged each other…..IKrs song plays……
