Dhanraj tells boy’s family that Kusum wanted to surprise Saroj about her further studies and lied that she is going to parlor instead. Saroj asks Rashmi to get Kusum ready. Sayuri says she will get Kusum ready. Saroj rudely says Sayuri did her job, now let Rashmi do her job. Rashmi takes Kusum in and starts badmouthing about Sayuri and says she shouldn’t have forcefully taken Kusum as Saroj was very tensed. Kusum warns her that it was her decision to study further and she herself took Sayuri and Kanha for admission, she doesn’t like Rashmi or anyone badmouthing about Sayuri.

Sayuri feels guilty that Saroj has to bear humiliation because of her. Kanha explains its not her mistake as Saroj didn’t inform about the boy’s family visiting them. They

both walk down ready and introduce themselves to boy’s parents. Sayuri asks them what would they like to have. Gayatri says they already had everything and are waiting for Kusum. Kanha and Sayuri walk to Kusum’s room and praise her beauty seeing her ready. They take Kusum down. Gayatri describes how rich their family is.

Kusum reveals her plan of completing her degree. Gayatri says she her age for studies has passed and she would be taking care of household chores after marriage anyways, so she doesn’t need studies. Saroj backs her and indirectly humiliates Sayuri. Kanha asks Gayatri’s son’s name. Gayatri says Rishi. Kanha questions about Rishi’s job. Gayatri says he works in USA. Nakul says Kusum would land directly in USA after marriage then. Gayatri says Kusum would take care of their extended family and Rishi would visit her 2-3 times in a year. Kanha gets angry and says she needs a servant instead and not a bahu and explains his point. Dhanraj supports Kanha’s views. Gayatri and her husband get angry and walk away.

Saroj runs behind them and apologizes for Kanha’s misbehavior and blames Sayuri for Kanha’s change of mind. She assures them that Kusum is not like Sayuri and would a good DIL for them. Indu hears their conversation and feels sad. Kusum feels sad and says if Saroj has got an alliance, then it must be good for her. Sayuri says she doesn’t have to sacrifice anything and should herself take decisions of her life. Rashmi asks then why is she influencing Kusum and interfering. Kanha says its a question of Kusum’s life and Sayuri is concerned. Saroj walks in and accuses Kanha and Sayuri for losing a good alliance.

Precap: Saroj warns Sayuri to not interfere in Kusum’s life again. Sayuri says she has decided that she will never stop and neither will let Kusum stop.
