Aru carries a water melon and comes to Dharamshala. Mukhi comes from behind. Aru comes to argue him to call her by her name, Mishri laughs if she is trying to win him in an argument. Aru offers him the watermelon, there must be a lot of watermelon in his village surely. Mukhi says his village is far from water body, but rejects to have off season fruit. Aru says she loves off season rains. They take seat, Aru asks Mukhi what kind of girl he wants, should she be fair, dark, fat, slim, heighted etc. Mukhi tells Aru if the weight of flour isn’t balanced, a bread is uneatable. It’s the inner self that makes people worth living, we make our inner side as good or bad; how can she judge the inner self of a person as it can’t be judged even in years. Aru was left open mouthed, and tells Mishri
Mishri brings food in the room, Mukhi had spread the sheet over the floor. Mishri asks why he left the table, and asks why Aru was disturbed about her list. She boasts that anyone would have married him in the village as he is no less than Shahrukh Khan. She wish everyone in the village also knew about this, Raman also wants him married soon.
There, Raman comes to police station in veil, the inspector sends everyone away and welcomes her inside. He tells Raman about all the preparations, Raman warns him to keep it a secret only. He says no one would discover when she hasn’t come here.
Raman hears a man in lockup saying no one remember his name after 14 years, its only Raman who doesn’t forget him. Raman says some people’s love costs us heavily, it keeps on pricking us forever. She forwards her sindoor box, the man fills her hair line. Her phone bell rings, she watches was curt over the ringing and rejects the call. Later, she calls Mukhi and assures him everything is fine here. Mukhi shares he is upset only because of Mishri’s wedding. Raman tells him she sent a necklace by hands of Arjun, he must take it from him and get the design remake for Mishri. Mukhi was worried about Arjun’s arrival and forbids her tell Aru not to come here. He asks her number to forbid her by himself.
Aru receives a call from Kaki who narrates her a list of grocery. Aru says she has no money, Kaki blackmails her to give the list to her Papa. Aru was upset. She now gets a Mukhi’s call and tells Mukhi it takes a lot of time in match making, it’s not that simple. Mukhi asks what she eats for breakfast, and requests her to come after 6 pm.
Mukhi calls Arjun but Arjun had reached Dharamshala already. Arjun tells Mukhi he didn’t leave today, he would only stay for a day over here and leave tomorrow morning. Mukhi goes to speak about the room. Arjun says his stay has already been arranged. Mukhi calls Aru again.
Aru was in auto now, her phone goes unattended. Arjun comes to Mukhi offering his phone. Mukhi takes him aside and looks towards the door, then gets seated with Arjun. Arjun asks Mukhi if they have completed the shopping for Mishri’s wedding. Mukhi was continuously looking outside. Arjun tells Mukhi he is staying at a relative’s place. Mukhi points towards Mishri that a lot of people come here, and insists on Arjun to leave now, its getting late. Arjun heads to leave and hits Aru on the door outside. Arjun holds her files and gets a chance to speak to her. Mukhi was worried what if his village discovers he is marrying.
PRECAP: Mukhi and Mishri meet a family, the men ask Mukhi why he didn’t marry till now or is he married in the village alredy.
