At Dharamshala, Mukhi ji appreciates Khichdi of Maharaj ji. Mukhi hadn’t let Mishri move from her place, she asks him for sweet. Mukhi heads to prepare kheer for Mishri and Maharaj.
On the way, Aru asks Papa where they are going. Papa says it’s a good place, the tension of their living has been sort from today. Mummy tells Aru to sleep, she would wake her up when they reach. Aru denies initially but fell asleep. Mukhi prepares kheer, people there anxiously await the kheer. Mishri thinks her life would get sweet when Mukhi gets someone to marry and was lost. Mukhi says no matter how much sugar you add, the kheer won’t be sweet until his Mishri’s face is upset. Maharaj says he could have prepared kheer for Mukhi had he demanded. Mukhi ji cheerfully reads a verse about advantages
Aru stops outside Dharamshala and was worried if they are really going to stay here. The auto driver tells her to get down. Papa says when he first came to Ahmedabad he stayed here. They walk inside. The electricity had turned off, Aru and family walk inside. In the hall, Mukhi was taking Mishri in the dark and tells Maharaj to keep a bowl of kheer. The manager comes to welcome Aru and family and apologizes as no one is aware about fixing fuse here. Papa boasts Aru is aware about it, Aru turns to go but Mukhi had gone and fixed the fuse already. Aru and Mummy head upstairs in a hurry. Papa speaks to the manager and argues about increased rent of rooms here. Mukhi hears Papa. Papa turns to leave and forbids the manager to tell his daughter about it. Mukhi wishes to help Papa but never wanted to make him feel degrade. Papa asks for something sweet, when the inner side is bitter one must take some sweet. Mukhi watches the kheer bowl in his hand and brings it to Papa.
In the room, Aru was walking restlessly. Papa comes in with kheer in hand, and says he really met a nice man here. Aru forbids him to speak much to anyone here. Papa had really liked Mukhi and regrets about not asking his name. A man had entered the Dharamshala at night. Papa got a cough, Aru goes to get water in the jug. Downstairs, Aru was in the mid of hall when someone calls robber, robber. Mukhi comes out of the room and holds Aru from behind. Aru turns to face him to his shock. Mukhi recognizes her and calls her a robber. Aru tells him she came to meet him at this time. Mukhi shows her the sheet she had been draped in. Aru throws the sheet over him, clutches his collar saying he won’t reply to her. Aru soon realizes it had been a day dream, and makes up she felt cold. Mukhi asks why she ran away, Aru says she ran to catch the thief. Mukhi asks why she came here, Aru says they need to go meet a girl tomorrow. Aru gets a call, and asks Mukhi to get ready at sharp 11 tomorrow. Mukhi then inquires about the jug of water in her hand, Aru says she bought it as she was thirsty. She goes to fill the jug. Both part ways.
Upstairs, Aru writes her diary about Mukhi’s irritable behavior. She writes she has to make up her image, she can’t let Mukhi know what problems she is facing in her life. She has to save her parents from Mukhi for the next two days.
PRECAP: Mishri asks Mukhi to say yes for a proposal. Mukhi agrees. Mishri and Aru cheer.
