Actress Kanchi Singh is making the most of her visit to Jaipur. Kanchi is in the town for an OTT shoot. She was earlier shooting for her debut movie Shukrdosh. The second schedule for the shoot of the movie got postponed because of the nationwide lockdown. The shoot for the same is likely to begin again this month.
Kanchi who is staying in Jaipur with her mother, recently visited the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Talking about it in an interview with BT, she shared, “I was inside the dargah premises for an hour and also bought a tokri which you have to keep on your head while praying. It was an emotional moment for me and my mom because we two couldn’t control our tears there. I prayed for healing and prosperity and I didn’t feel like leaving from there. There were a lot of people, but we made sure that we followed all the norms and took all safety precautions,”
Revealing her shopping for jewellery and outfits, Kanchi said, “My mother really liked the sarees which were there so she bought them for herself and I was fascinated by the suits and ornaments. I plan to shop more before I leave because such opportunities are rare in these pandemic times.”
Kanchi is a foodie and talking about it she said, “I am a big fan of dal-baati and as soon as I landed in the city, I relished a plate of it first and then started doing other things,” says Kanchi.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was recently set to return to television after 4 years but things didn’t work out.
Talking about Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai she shared, “This year is turning out to be a productive one for me till now. I am shooting for my debut movie and doing my first OTT project. And now I am open to doing TV shows too,” Kanchi says.
