Sameer tries getting romantic but Naina makes him focus on the subject. He plays with her hair and makes a kissing face but she keeps pointing the books at him. He falls asleep while sitting. She helps him lie down but sits down to study herself. She looks at him. He is just like Preeti – Padhai-chor!
Tau ji tells his wife to hurry up. It is the wedding of judge’s daughter. She says I have to get ready properly as I am your wife after all. I have to wear a small necklace everywhere. He asks her if they should go to jeweller now. She speaks of the necklace that Bela got. He asks her if she will beg Bela for jewellery now. She lists down the items which were given to Bela by their MIL. He wants to do the division tomorrow but she insists upon doing it right away. Tau ji calls Anand
Voiceover – Naina:
For many days, I dint know that Chacha ji were in this trouble because of my wedding. My anger for Tau ji and Tai turned into hatred when Preeti told me all this!
Naina has changed and tries waking Sameer. He tells her to let him sleep but she tells him to greet her and get up. He is reluctant but she does not let him sleep anymore. You have to brush, bathe and do puja so I will give you tea. He wonders if she is his wife or Boss. He smiles seeing the keys around her waist. She does not let him sleep or have tea. He finally goes to bathe. They do puja together. Naina and Sameer enjoy tea in the balcony. He does not like it though. It is not well cooked. He jumps excitedly. There is something which I will tell you atleast! Let’s go.
Anand offers tea to his brother and SIL but they refuse. Tai ji asks him to give them their share. Tau ji asks for Preeti. Bela shares that she was sent downstairs to bring stuff. Anand adds that she wouldn’t have liked it. Tai ji selects all the heavy jewellery for herself. Tau ji tells her to look closely. Hope they dint keep something with them. Tai ji looks at a pair and says Ma ji gave it to me. Bela says she gave it to you for a function. Tai ji argues with her but Anand stops Bela from retorting. Tai ji asks for the kundan necklace. Did you sell it? Bela denies. We gave it to Naina. Tai ji makes faces.
Naina is cooking. She adds incorrect ingredient. He tells her about it but she is sure she is doing it right. He says you will mess up with everyone. He makes faces as she does not open the windows. She says I was about to open them. He says this is what stupid people always say. He does not like the mess she is creating. He makes a remark about it but goes quiet seeing her stare pointedly in his direction. She opens the box of spices and realises that Sameer was right. She looks afraid while adding spices. She holds it from far. Sameer keeps everything back properly but she suggests him to focus on economics instead.
Voiceover – Naina:
Two people got to know the truth about each other that day. We saw an altogether different avatar of each other that day. He understood that I was a 0 with household work while he was a freak with cleanliness. Keep watching how we find out more about each other.
Sameer keeps cleaning the slab and floor as she keeps cooking. The gas suddenly turns off. He taunts her for making excuses when she does not know how to cook. She tries to light it. He tells her not to kill lighter. The gas has finished. She nods. Where is second cylinder? He makes her ask him sweetly and then gives it to her.
Voiceover – Naina:
I swear I think of this day whenever I change gas cylinder today. I was school topper but I was stupid in this. Chachi ji used to do it herself so it is not really my fault!
Naina tells Sameer to change the cylinder. I have to knead dough. He wants to focus on his studies. They cutely bicker over it. He ends up saying that it would be better to knead dough rather than change cylinder. She says neither of us know how to do it. She prays to God to do something. Doorbell rings just then. Kanji greets Naina. Sameer thanks him for coming over. You have to manage everything now. Kanji and Naina are formally introduced. They ask him to change the cylinder first. Naina thanks God.
